Is there someone out there who could tell me when I will actually see dramatic weightloss? I had my bypass/gall bladder removed 11-21-12 (and of course a week liquid diet prior)...lost 16 lbs from the liquid diet, gained 11 lbs from anaesthesia, lost those again so I know can say I have lost 17 total pounds since my pre op liquid diet... I'm confused...

Oooo which reminds me, I went down a slide this weekend after losing this weight so far and I fit! I went down smooth and fast. Before the surgery my hips wouldn't even let me fit and I would scoot and get stuck rather than slide. This was awesome! -

I had RNY on 11/21/12 I am down 86 pounds as of today. Weightloss has slowed down, but that's okay. I know I'm still losing inches. I still haven't found the right protein for me, so I do the best I can. I do not waste calories and meals on anything other than protein. No fried foods no breads no starches. Protein, protein, protein. Almost 3 months out! (2 more days) -
Thank you so much for your input! I saw the ingredients say whey protein isolate so I tried it... its like a super sweet thick concentrated syrup... after two swallows I was immediately full. Lol. It's too thick to stomach...errr... pouch rather... I'll continue my hunt for the right protein for me...

Found this product at 7-11. It's small, real small. They had a strawberry banana smoothie flavored one. Has anyone tried this? Could it work to get that protein in? I like the idea of so much whey isolate protein in such small volume. Please advise!

So far so good. Weightloss outweighs the cravings. Key components is to always make protein and vitamins your priority... the surgery tests me at times but my God... it's so very worth it... please let me know if you have any questions! -

I too would like to join! I had my RNY 11/21/12 and started at 361 LBS. Today I am at 280 lbs.... I still have a looonnng road ahead of me. The weightloss has slowed down quite a lot for me. Has anyone tried the unjury flavorless potein? I need to get a lot more Protein supplement in.... I'm tired of the chunky siper thick chalky chocolate drinks.... -
Oh mann, please try and keep us updated! Are you running a fever or anything? Have they eliminated the possibility of some sort of infection?

I have good days and bad days.... I had gastric bypass 11/21/12... I started at 361.8 and I'm now 322.2... My protein intake still needs tons of work, water is okay... I have been stuck at 322 for a week already. Thought it was too early for a stall... The emotional and mental part is constantly tested when I crave food... When will I get over it and why am I stalling so early on? :/
-
You're right... I guess my withdrawl from food creates a bit of anxiety to me... thank you very much!

Im actually concerned that Im not feeling any restriction... granted, I am only sipping, walking around, but so far no nausea (knock on wood) or fullness feeling. Is this okay?
