i've been bad... I can't believe it has been 6 months already! i just had my 6mo. follow up and all my labs are great... which comes as quite a shock because i have to admit i've been absolutely terrible with taking my vitamins... i mean terrible! shame on me, but i haven't taken ANY in about 3 months...so i went in fully prepared to get lectured, but instead they told me how great i was doing... this actually scares me because obviously if i'm absorbing all my nutrients the other bad stuff is being absorbed as well but i guess its good that i'm getting the nutrients... weight wise i am down 82lbs as of this morning, so i'm happy for that! I was really excited when I was finally 199 and now i'm just shy of the 170's! its unreal and now my goal weight doesn't seem like such a far off dream! Although now i really need to start working at it... and again, there are so many ways i've been a failure at this because I have not been working out... I really need to start i just haven't found the motivation and now that my weight loss is slowing down (nearly halting as i've only lost 2lbs since june 1) i'm really regretting not having that workout routine down by now... anyone have any tips?! i know that the routine of everything is what is going to be key for success and maintenance and i never want to go back to where i was before! i guess i need to be logging on here more often to get inspired...

For anyone who has the New Whey Liquid Protein Shots, I think they are kinda gross and hard to drink because they are thick... however, I used one to make jello and can't taste it! I used blue raspberry in a sugar free raspberry jello... 46 grams of protein to snack on! Just an idea so you dont have to gag them down or throw them out...

I did the same thing! Not in and out of a tractor, but ohhh the pain sometimes if you move in just the right way is just awful!

Just for everyone who seems to have a huge issue with the mashed potatoes they are instant and thinned and I eat like 3 bites I've had no problems with dumping (I too am terrified of that) but it is on my approved foods list... Definitely not as much sugar as Greek yogurt and some of the other things people are posting about... Everyone responds differently to different foods so why the need to criticize one another? I for one joined this for support... Guess ill be looking else where... How disappointing

Yay! That's exactly how my day went too! Down 22lbs and got the staples out!!! I'm eating mashed potatoes with cheese mmmm feels great right? Congrats

Ok I am supposed to be having my post op appt tomorrow but due to weather I cannot travel to the docs office my staples are itching like crazy and I'm soooo ready to be on puréed foods now! My doctors office is closed all next week for Christmas so I'm not even sure when I'll be able to get in! I'm so ready to pop these bad boys out myself!

I had some pain my first couple days but nothing serious! Sent home 27 hrs after surgery... I'm exactly 1 week out and down 20lbs nothin to complain about here and glad there are so many others without probs congrats to us!

Ok weight loss update! I had surgery 12/10 and today I'm down exactly 20lbs!!!!!!! Unbelievable! I'm so excited I just wanted to share!

Wow thanks for sharing! And you're right I keep hearing the pain will pass its just hard to believe right now and having never experienced anything like this before its hard... But your willingness to share gives me encouragement so thank you for that and best of luck to you
