Hey guys! Sorry it's been a while since I've been on, busy with life. But I'm down to 214 from 256 and my diet is back to normal! Still haven't tried sushi, but ham for Christmas was great! How is everyone else? Does anyone have any tips for keeping track on fitness pal? I never remember to log in and record my intake and etc. anywho, toodles xoxo

    Honey

A little bit won't hurt, I drink it in my tea, but be cautious about putting it on solids, like toast or something, I think it has to do with the breaking down in the tea, it's more easily digested

    Alcohol

I know this has been a thread before, but I can't find it now!! How long after post-op did y'all wait til you started drinking alcohol again? I'm a month and a half out, I just would like to gauge how much longer I should wait!
  4. Hey y'all! I'm 23 days out, and I seriously have to force myself to eat, as soon as I take one bite, I feel full! Or nauseous, or whatever I'm eating seems SO undesirable!!! What do y'all do? Or any suggestions?! I'm miserable!! I feel starving all the time and at the same time, it's like I can't eat or anything I take a bite of, will bust my pouch! Anything guys?

Omg y'all my stomach is hurting SO bad!!! I've never felt this ever! Like something is stabbing and ripping up to my chest!y mom had gastric two years ago and she says something's stuck or won't go down, the only thing I ate today was mootopia milk and raspberries with cottage cheese, I felt bad all day but this is horrible now, I've been hacking and practically throwing up foam for 30 minutes, it tastes like raspberries?!?! Gross I know, but I was wondering if anyone who's gone through this has any tips?! I'm 19 days out.

    Total Nutrition Per Day?

Once we are on our regular third phase diet we should be consuming no more than 700 calories a day, carbs, less than 70 and fat you just need to watch, fat isn't as important as sugar, you want to avoid eating anything with sugars over 20 grams of sugar in a single serving.

It's just your intestines waking up! Consider it a very welcoming sign that you are doing great

    Crystal Light?

I had rny on nov 5 th, crystal light and any other kind of tea seem to get my intestines going, having had a slow bowel anyway, they've really helped me stay regular, not sure if this helps at all, but I've shared the experience xoxo

    Weightloss Without Execrise

I have fibro as well, granted I am only 12 days out, I'm walking about 4 miles a day, but not all at once, I also have found several diet tweaks online about how diet changes can help alleviate some of the fibro pain. Getting enough sleep and enough water and enough protein (just like a gastric bypass patient) is very important to fibro maintenance as well. I would look online at the diet suggestions and try a few out, hope this helps mylove <3

Hi everyone! I just found this place on my iPhone, and I can't tell you how happy I am all of you guys are here! I'm a November post-op too! Nov 5th, so I'm 12 days out and I think about 12 pounds down from surgery and 28 pounds down from my liquid diet, I think I'm going go be a slow dropper too, started at 256 but I'm 5'1, and I've had a lot of medical issues in my life preventing weight loss, so I'm pretty excited to see the scale move in the other direction now! Water and protein shakes and egg drop soup (post-op diet for 21 days) has gone down really easy, and I'm walking about 4 miles a day (one mile every four hours) I can't think of anything else, but I'm so glad I'm here!
