Maybe your weight gain is due to your period coming too? I was losing quite quickly but the last time I weighed I gained 2 lbs and it's the same today. Bet when Aunt Flo comes it'll go away! At least I hope!! I HATE Aunt Flo!! Lol.

So, have any of you had bloating related to pms since surgery? Yesterday I was very very umm, angry? Emotional? Pms-ing! Lol. Anyways, today I am uncomfortable with this damn bloat! Wondering if anyone else had this and felt more uncomfortable than usual after the surgery? Also, everyone please take a moment to say a prayer, send out positive vibes, whatever your thing is for Simply Southern if you haven't already. I'm so worried about her and I've been praying and thinking of her all morning. I hope we hear something soon.

Yes!! I think it was for me the anesthesia wearing off and then I think just the body needing to heal. But I'm 2 weeks post-op and still wanting a nap every afternoon. I'm ok now if I don't get it I just go to bed super early then. So, it did improve for me.

OMG!! Just wanna share, I have lost so far 41 lbs. since my highest weight, about 23 lbs since surgery on the 13th! YAY! I also took my measurements at 313 lbs and then again today and I lost a ton of inches all over! Not trying to toot my own horn but sooo excited!! If ya'll haven't already, do your measurements and weights and re-do them periodically! Makes you feel good to look back on. ") Also, praying for all of you having problems/complications. I truly think a lot of it, like you guys said, is our bodies undergoing such rapid changes. And lastly, how the h#ll do you actually update your ticker? I go to my ticker and it says edit, delete, but it won't let me update my current weight. Help! Lol.

Yeah. It also could be from lack of food. I dunno but it's annoying! Lol.

I'm sorry you're having them too, but in a way glad I'm not the only one! Lol. Maybe we are letting ourselves get dehydrated? You think? What is your fluid intake like?

Also, I find it difficult to get in the amount of ounces I am supposed to at each "meal". Lol. I can have 2-3 oz. cottage cheese, sometimes can finish an egg, and sometimes 6 oz yogurt no problem. I guess I'm just so confused and afraid I'm messing up. They say to stop at the first feeling of full and I do that and with more watery foods, like yogurt, I can eat more, but more dense foods (cottage cheese, eggs), no can do. What are you guys experiencing with this?

So, has anyone had headaches post-op? I have been getting a headache every day around 6p or so and having to take my liquid acetaminophen. My ear had fluid in it before surgery and that's still bothering me and they changed a bunch of my meds around, so that could be it too. I was just worrying about it cause I'm a worrier I guess. Lol.

I'm doing great with liquids, proteins, not so much. I just ordered Unjury powder because I cannot handle one more shake. The smell of them is starting to make me nauseous, so I hope the Unjury is everything it's cracked up to be! Lol. I had my diet advanced yesterday to include eggs, cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, and stage 1 baby meat. So far I've only had the egg and cottage cheese, but those are not high enough in protein. I do love my soups though, so I am hoping to get the powder and put in it my soups for lunch and drinks throughout the day. And yes, they say to try foods again after a little while and I had success with that. At first I couldn't do sf pudding without being in the bathroom in one second flat but now it's ok. So, hopefully the milk works. Maybe if not try the lactaid milk? But I'm not sure of the protein content of that. Are you?

I feel ya girls!! Last night was our Italian family feast...Homemade ravioli, spaghetti, sauce, calamari, you name it. I had 3 oz of cottage cheese with a tiny splash of sauce on it. Lol. But you know what? I didn't feel the least bit sad or deprived because I know that I am becoming a more healthy me, both physically and mentally. That's what we all have to remind ourselves!! Merry Christmas!!!!

Yes!! Good luck to everyone! And I know some of you were also worried about stretching your pouch with liquids, as I was, cause it seems like we can take bigger sips. I asked today at my f/u appt and they said that since the liquids basically went right thru there wasn't any real danger of stretching it out too far. They said that it would be much more important when we get to eating actual food because that will stay there longer and can really stretch pouch out. They also stressed the importance of not eating or drinking 30 mins before/after meal once we get to more solid foods. Just FYI for some other that I know were also concerned with this.

My doc prescribed acetaminophen 500mg/5ml-take (2) teaspoonfuls a day as needed. Hope this helps.
