    Nausea

I wear sea bands. It's accu pressure for nausea relief. I also drink peppermint tea with ginger. My doc prescribed zofran and Prilosec daily. Also dehydration can make nausea worse. Hope you guys get to feeling better soon. I've had to cut out all dairy and I learned I was drinking too soon after eating which caused me to dump. surgery 10/17/12 pre op wt 215 surgery wt 201 current 185

    Hey Y'all!

My name is Thrisha, im a newbie to the site, but ever so thankful to have found a support site. Some of my history... Im 30yrs old, severely diabetic, with pcos. my weight started being a daily struggle about 5 years ago, when my diabetes got so bad I had to be placed on an insulin. about a year ago I was placed on an insulin pump which helped me balloon to my highest weight ever of 213 on my 5"3 frame. My surgery was roux en y, gastric bypass on 10-17-2012. I weighed in at 201 pounds, today I am 27days out and 185. on nov 4 I had my gallbladder removed by emergency surgery. since then I have been hospitalized for nausea and vomiting, and dehydration. Im currently on the mushy stage2 diet. I look forward to chatting with all of you. Also I'm very open to information suggestions or heck even well wishes.

    Mirena!

I wasn't on anything before surgery. I hadn't had my period in over a year. I started my first cycle 3 days post op lasted for about 6 days and wasn't to bad. I went on the orthoevra patch and then a week later during gallbladder surgery the docs took off my patch and I have been on for 10 days and its horrible! I was wondering if the blood thinners they had me on are contributing to the heavy flow or is it happening bc I hadn't had a cycle in so long. Either way this crazy cycle is annoying!!! surgery 10/17/12 pre op wt 215 surgery wt 201 current 185
