I just had to say that im 20 days post op and tried 1 scrambled egg a few days ago...it did not go well for me at all! Everyone is different but go light on it just incase!

LoL!! Im so glad i read this. I had been wondering about this certain .."liquid". Thank you SO much for the warning!

I just asked my dr today when it was safe to have a little alcohol (hell if we cant eat we might as well have a little fun drinking every now and then!) So they told me 1 year post op. Im only 20 days post op...i don't think i could wait a whole year!

Congratulations and good luck to you!!! Do not be afraid to get up from the bed and walk around, it will feel SO good! (But make sure a nurse is with you!)

Oh and smells! Ugh everywhere i go i smell nasty smells. Even certain foods smell really funky now! Bleah

Had the surgery on the 8th. Lost 20lbs the first 2 weeks but nothing the past few days. Head hunger is driving my crazy and i cant seem to drink enough water. Have no energy but attempt to walk everyday. Does anyone else get lightheaded or dizzy every time they stand up? Other than that im so happy i got the surgery and cant wait for the next few weeks to be overwith!

Im having problems with my water intake too! Im 20 days post-op and besides head hunger this has been my biggest struggle. Ive always been just a plain water drinker and used to be able to chug a bottle of water within seconds. I am sick of sweet things so im not enjoying anything flavored drinks.(although i do love my popsicles!) My husband jokingly said he was going to buy me one of those water backpacks that runners use and tape the straw to my face! Now i know aren't suppose to use straws but the water backpack might be a good idea (minus the straw taped to my face) as long as we are careful we might as well try anything!

Hi everyone! Im exactly 1 week post op today and i am kind of surprised at how smooth everything has been for me. The surgery smooth...hospital stay smooth and pain level pretty low. Infact i haven't even taken pain meds today! The only struggle is my head hunger.

I finally called and got the ok for full liquids! Woohoo!

Hello everyone. After my surgery the put an abdominal binder on me and told me to wear it at home. For those who got one how long did you wear it? I wear mine when sleeping and walking but when im just relaxing in a chair i let my tummy breath im only 6 days post-op but im wondering if i use it too long it becomes a bad thing. Just curious
