Does Anyone Get Dizzy?

I get dizzy every time I get up from the couch or bed. I will try to drink more water. Thanks. -
Happy Holidays Everyone! Today is Thanksgiving but I was hoping to get some ideas for recipes for the whole season. I have struggled so much to find a Protein source that I can actually tolerate taste-wise. I love pumpkin and pumpkin spice so I tried to create my own pumpkin spice Protein shake that complies with my full liquid diet restriction. It turned out pretty good. Here it is: 6 oz of NF vanilla yogurt (8g of protein) 3 crushed ice cubes 1/2 c FF milk (4.5g of protein) 1 serving of vanilla unjury Protein powder (21g of protein) 1/4 tsp of pumpkin pie spice, OR to taste TOTAL PROTEIN = 33.5g Blend all ingredients in bullet or blender. I actually found a vanilla chai yogurt that I used. You can add more or less milk depending on the consistency that you want. You can also add more or less pumpkin pie spice depending on your desired taste. I need a lot of spice to mask the protein supplement flavor. Next step I want to try a chocolate protein powder maybe with some peppermint flavoring. Enjoy!

@littlepieface - My doctor recommended Milk of Magnesia which is the mildest way of getting things moving. It worked for me but truth be told I don't think there is much to move since I am on clear liquids. -
5 Days Post-Op & Protein Drinks = Ick!
dlmay2000 posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hey RNY Talk folk! I am 5 days post-op today (surgery was 11/7) I am feeling a bit desperate and have been for the last few days. All of the Protein drinks I was having during my pre-op diet now make me feel sick at the thought of drinking them. My body is definitely yearning for something and I am fantisizing about food constantly!! The drinks I have been having are the clear Isopure drinks and Premier Protein chocolate from costco. Just typing them makes my pouch turn, urgh. I ordered the sample pack from powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury today but don't know when I will get it in the mail. My surgeon has instructed me to drink only Clear liquids and liquid Protein supplements, plus all of the Vitamins obviously for two weeks! Any advice on alternatives?? I would be so grateful because I think I might go crazy constantly thinking about food that I can't have! On the plus (or minus) side I have lost 24 lbs since I started the pre-op diet but sometimes it feels like the weight was replaced with frustration! Help! Thank you!!! Denise -

Thanks Jodi. I actually made a chicken soup with lots of veggies and chicken broth for my husband and let it simmer for awhile to really get the flavor in the broth. I ate just to broth and it was very good. Not satisfying for long cuz there was no Protein supplement in it but it was tasty. I may try to find a flavorless Protein Powder tomorrow that I can add to my cooked broth. I really can't wait until this two weeks in over! Any other fast food Soups others can recommend are good once strained? Even canned would be okay but I haven't come across any that are worth repeating.
