Am 9 days post op gastric bypass. I weighed 260 going into surgery but I have no idea how much weight loss I should expect per week per month. Since I have struggled my whole life with my weight and always failed, I am once again afraid of failure, I know that's crazy but I was wondering if anyone had any input on about how much/ fast you should typically lose?? -
Me too! It is weird, hard figure out what full feels like etc. I keep wondering , "will this really work, how fast will I lose?" all because everything feels the same....lol

Do you have you been taking any Vitamins?? I take Bariatric fusion chewables and it has helped my energy level a lot. Also y doctor puts everyone on Prilosec to help with all the belly issues. Hope you feel better soon! :-)

I came home Thanksgiving day, very sore and a lot of left sided pain, it is hard to know when u are drinking too much. I am having a hard time determining when my pouch is full or if it just the swelling from surgery. Good luck! Sent from my DROID RAZR using RNYTalk -

I am day 3 post op doing pretty good so far a lot of left sided pain but managing pretty good. It is hard to determine what "full" feels like and how to drink enough without drinking too fast... any tips?? Sent from my DROID RAZR using RNYTalk

Mine is tomorrow too, I feel exactly the same as you, I sometimes feel destined to be obese and wonder if This won't work either.. I hope how soon I feel more optimistic. I have been preparing for this since January -

One side of my family had Thanksgiving dinner today, it was very h as rd since I am on clears. I felt so emotional and doubting try he surgery. However after it was all over I felt very accomplished!
