Yea Jess! I am having a good Day too! I bought a 1x shirt a few weeks ago, (was in and have still been wearing 3x tops)because it was on sale and thinking it would be awhile before I could fit into it. Well it is red, so I thought I'd try it today for v day. And it fit! Not only that, but it also is not tight! I am so happy -
I did not have one til the month after surgery. But my cycles were not regular. They have been regular since.

I have a horrible time with chicken! I thought this meat was supposed to be well tolerated. Not me , anyone else have s bad time with chicken?
-
It does not matter what way I eat it, it never sits well and even get sick from it. I think I will just stay away from it for now, maybe when I am out further from surgery date. Thanks for all the posts! I am glad I'm not the only one who struggles with chicken.

My date was 11/20. I also understand. I feel like I am behind losing weight from everyone else. But actually I think we are all doing about the same. I am down 45 lbs, and wish it were more, but I decided as long as I am not gaining I am happy. -

Jessi replied to rozypozy's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Wow! Got my shipment from bariatric pantry. Made the matrix mint cookie shake with milk, omg! It is so tasty and a lot less fat than the Atkins. Thank you worm for the suggestion. I feel like I'm cheating by drinking this -

Best tasting protein shakes

My favorite are the Atkins shakes. Also, GNC has a lean protein powder that is fairly good. -
To bypass or to sleeve? That is the question.
Jessi replied to bolivister's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I opted for rny because I decided that I would not have surgery again so I might as well do it. So glad I did ! I have been off the reflux meds since surgery. No reflux at all, its been 2 months: ) good luck! -
how many calories should we be getting?
Jessi replied to laurelle1980's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Start by upping calories to at least 800 then up it more. Protein I was lucky to me getting 60 then I upped it to about 80. -

Also you may need to up your protein. I upped my calories and protein and lost 4 lbs in a week. Before I did that I was at a stall. Try getting more. Also to help you can use myfitnesspal it keeps track of everything.
