dottednails replied to Natasha K's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am three months out and have been taking biotin all along o stared at 400mg just because my doc did not give.me a number and when I asked I got no answers fro The nut so I upped it to 5000mg and I have had very little hair loss so far. I will be interested to see. What happens in the next few months. I also started using fall fight shampoo by garnier frutise (spelling wrong sorry) anyway it has biotin in it and I like it and it is cheep. Hope that helps -

Mami there are non for profit orginaztions in most county's that provide counesling for free or very little expense. Even sometimes your local domestic violence angency may be able to help with out pressuring you to leave, but offering supports and options for positive changes. Best of luck with whatever you decided To do with you marriage. One day at a time

So hard to quit you are right helps to keep hands busy. Don't be to hard on your self and drop little habits. Also in NY the health insurance people have quit smoking insensitives that pay you cash if you quit you may want to look Into that or we also have a quit line that give people free patches and other stop smoking tools. Best of luck all you will love the new you way more than your smokes
-
I had to do a blood rest and be smoke free for six weeks and re rest at prep OP testing

I was able to quite for the surgery as well I am so glad I have been smoke free for over a year and half now and down 51 pounds. 37 since surgery in november I feel so much better. You can do it try stopping one thing at a time I was a big car smoker so I stopped smoking in the car first then when I was done with the car smoking I stopped having my after lunch smoke.etc. It took a month to stop but I feel so much better totally worth quiting
