I just asked my doctor About taking BC pills this week and they said it is fine. That they will absorb I am ten months out I know other docs say different but I will go with my doc and if. Baby happens I will be fine

Yes I had to be smoke free for at least six weeks before they would even let me do the blood work. Best of luck most doctors make you stop smoking before they will operate

My surgery was November 2012 I am ten months now and the hair loss has stopped and am trying to grow it back out does grow a little slower if you do decided to color your hair I would deffenlty go to the Salon and ask them to do whatever is most natural and best for you hair. How are you doing so far ? Oh also make sure you keep up on the protein that will help a bunch I know on weeks when's protein was low I saw more hair loss

I have very thin strait hair and I also keep mine colored. I did have some thinning from about months 4-8 seemed like I was losing about 30-40 strands a day I stared biotin which did help a bit I also used the biotin shampoo and stopped using conditioner as it just weighed it down more. I cut my hair in month 6 to a short style made it look more full and I seemed not to lose as much. I don't think you will need a wig it does not fall out that much just a little thinning. I think you may want to think about not coloring it for a while. I stopped coloring it an still have no yet to afraid.

Yes it is am I so mad that I stared again but I love to just hang out and have a smoke. I fallow all the other rules and feel so much better with out the weight. Some stressful live events happened and I am right back at square one with smoking I should just quit cold turkey.

Homemade chicken parm yum I could go for that now lol. Sometimes I laugh at the fact that I was looking forward to purée food.

So I confessed to the doc that I was smoking and she gave me chantix not sure if any I you guys have tried it yet but any hints ? Or things I should know?

About a week after surgery I started to cry when my kids had chicken nuggets I was in pain and could only eat jello and those chicken nuggets looked and smelled so good. Now I look at them and think they are gross !

I had my rny in November and by family christmas everyone could tell that I had lost and I was down about two sizes. I would say that I have lost about one size a month pretty evenly started at at 28 and am now ten months out and wearing a size 12/14. Everyone will notice your face first. People don't recognize me anymore just today my son said to me that one of his friends asked if his dad got remarried because he did not recognize the woman that picked him up. When my son told him it was me he was like wow your mom is so skinny now that was a great way to end the day ! So it takes a few months but it goes pretty quick. Best of luck !

It will work keep up the great work I am 10 months out now and can't believe how far I have come first few months were hard and then it just kept getting better after that. I was just at a family gathering and half my family just walk right past me because they did not know who I was. Lol I see these people every 6 months for my whole life and they did not recognize me. Felt great !

Congrats! Just wondering if you tried Greek yorgert for some reason whe I was pregnant milk products helped with my nausea maybe Greek yorgert with some protein powder. Help you get the protein and you only need to eat a little bit.

Yeah I worry about that to many people talk about the complications they have after a year or two and that is scary. My mom thank god has had non but I know that I have struggled to give up smoking and I am down to only a few a day and hope to talk to my doctor Wednesday about it. I don't want an ulser and I know that can happen. Oye so hard not to smoke when everyone in you life smokes.

Thank you my mom had rny over 15 years ago she said once she made it to onederland she has never gone back to the twos I am hoping I am the same !!! I can now wear the same size as my mother in law and that's so cool considering she was a snot about my weight . And today we are going to an amusement park can't wait to wear my bathing suit with no shame !
