I have tried it--it was good--very hard--I let it sit a bit to soften.

I eat at least 3 hours apart--no longer than 4 hours--1st meal of day within 1 hour of waking--last meal of day around 8:30 pm -
I'm over 3 months out and only feel it if I have too high sugar content or eat too much. I don't throw up--get very nauseous, lethargic, dizzy headed, go pale

I feel the want to graze coming back-especially now that I know it doesn't make me sick. If I do it, I truly try to tell myself just one pretzel or one goldfish--whatever it is--it gives me the taste bd gets it off my mind but I really want to stop it all together. In the beginning I slipped NONE bc I was scared what it would do, but now not scared. -
I should hope that ANYONE in this forum knows that fried, high fat foods are not allowed.

Weight has been moving well in the last week--how's everyone doing? -
Let me clarify...when I had them they were broiled (not fried) and not breaded, nor did I use any mayo for dipping. If you are going to try them, purchase the lump crab cakes and prepare at home in your oven so you know exactly what you are eating. There are MANY ways to have foods that you have enjoyed in the past, you just have to revise the preparation. I did eat them in soft foods bc my surgeons rule was anything that could be cut with a fork--a broiled crab cake falls apart so definetly worked for me. I have operated under the rules of my surgeon at all times-if it's a new food I haven't had, I prepare at home first so that I know it meets my protein expectation along w carbs and sugars. If you liked something in the past, be creative and try to find ways to make it work now. I hate it when someone tells me "no" but love it when I find a way to make it work for my new life-good luck

I have had multiple times-as early as 3 weeks out-no problems

How could I not lose weight?
4SFLFDS replied to tzbandtobypass's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I stalled around that point as well. My doctor explained to me this week at my 3 mo appt that "we" think the weight loss will be consistent daily...but...in reality it's like a stair step. You drop then rest then drop again. My RNY was 10/23 and I'm down 55#--good luck, just keep doing the routine! -
