wanted something hot today so I had a cup of broth... I added some protein powder to it but now I wonder... do I count that as a liquid? (I'm 3weeks post op)...

Diabetic After Bypass

I'm only three weeks out and am off most of my medicines. I am still running a little higher than non diabetics and occasionaly will give myself 5-10 units of insulin if I go above 175, but so far so good. Can't wait to see if it gets even better with dropping the weight and when i start to eat "normal foods". I have high hopes though!!! Good luck and I hope the surgery keeps your diabetes at bay too. -
Hi All you post op's out there... I need a favor... I left my list of vitamin needs at home today and I wanted to order them online today since I am 13 days out. Can you guys recommend what I'll need to start with and a good place to buy them? oh yeah... while I am asking... aren't there some vitamins you can't take at the same time you take others? Just wrapping my head around this stuff. Thanks so much!!
