My Story in a Nutshell
Jjyoung replied to Tanya Danielle's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Tanya, I know what you have been through has been a struggle. Listen to me. I had my bypass 2/13/13. My weight when I started the process was 329lbs, now I am 201 which is a 128lb loss. Iused to get discouraged. I have a family I cook for, we go out to eat and everything. It is up to you to make this work. With the bypass, I can't eat a lot at one time. Just like any other program you still have to eat the right things. It seems to me you know what you want and need to do go for it girl, and I wish you the best of luck. If you want pizza , get smart ones and eat a couple of bites, you will be satisfied. when you go out to eat, order your meal and ask for a takeout container, put 2/3 in the container to take home and you will have food for a couple of days. Eat your sweets if you want to, just get the ones with Splenda. I do not intend to go back, I am looking forward nonstop Look, this is a journey, and we are to help you with it. -
Congratulations. I had my surgery, 2/13/13, my weight was 320 lbs. I am now 195 and doing great. I have had minimal problems, other than stomach rumblings, but other than that I am doing great. Ask any questions you have, and if i can help I will

This surgery was the best decision I have made in a long time. 3 months in and I am down 61 pounds, have a ton of energy, and I can now walk 3 miles a day, spend the entire day at Disney, and not feel like a beached whale. It is great, cant wait to lose the rest to get to my goal. -
Some people can eat everything you posted, some can't it depends on your body. Right now I am three months out, and foods I ate last week make me sick this wek, but I am down 61 pounds

I am in Florida. My surgery was Feb, 13 2013. My journey started August 2012, I was 318 lbs. On my surgery date I was 296.lbs. Today I am 280lbs. I. Have had some nausea issues, and constipation, but that okay now. Getting ready to start soft foods, but the smell of food is making me nauseous. But I love the weight loss so far.
