I hope someone can help me. I had my first bypass in 2004. The md did rny w/banding, well the band slid caused some severe necrosis (dead tissue). And so in 2008 I lost part of my large intestine, small intestine, bowels, stomach, and while trying to repair these, they nicked the diaphram causing my left lung to collapse so I ended up with 2 chest tubes, lost part of my left lung and a left rib. Now my weight is almost back up to my pre surgery weight. I also have developed osteo arthritis, osteoporosis, and osteopenia. I have an open wound on my abdomen that has been open for 4 years and won't close and has been tested positive for MRSA. I am now looking for another md to see about helping me get back on track. I don't want to be ultra skinny just healthy. I hurt all of the time from the arthritis especially in the cold and headaches from the heat. My bones break just by standing up. I am only 44 years old and feel like I am 95 years old.
