What's the other?

Yes... And no. In this shake I do not taste it at all. You have to put it in things that will mask the flavor. I have put too much in yogurt and it was not good. In this shake, I really do not taste any of it.

I am 1 month post op and I have found a great Protein shake. I start very morning with it, otherwise I would not come near my daily protein goals. I have to drink it in 2 sittings... I have 1/2 for breakfast and 1/2 afternoon around 2 or 3. The recipe: 1 cup of 1/2% milk 1 scope unjury unflavored Protein Powder 1 packet Carnation instants breakfast no sugar added, with protein milk chocolate flavor That alone is great, but when I want to shake things up I add 1 tablespoon of Peanut Butter Or 1 tablespoon of sugar free Carmel sauce. It's yum and has around 40 to 45g of protein. Like I mentioned above I drink it in 2 sittings. Good luck!

What did your doc say? I have been doing great getting in Protein, but still craving veggies. I want the weight to fall off, so I'm all protein for now.

I haven't weighed since last Friday. I'm a little nervous about stepping on scale this Friday. Please let it go down!

I am 3 and 1/2 weeks post op and I have not lost any weight for over a week. Frustrating!! I don't understand how I can eat so little, walk, and still not lose weight. I am getting 35 to 50g of Protein in and plenty of Water. I was expecting stalls, but not so soon. Anyone else experiencing this?

I think this group had been amazing! I have counted on the folks on here with pre op questions and now post op questions. Everyone in the December group has been so encouraging!! With that said I'm signing off of this thread. It's getting really confusing to follow all the conversations! We all have lots to say! Looking forward to chatting it up on some of the other threads in his forum. Hope to see you guys there! Thank you, all, for helping me get through surgery. 3 weeks pst tomorrow and feeling great! -

I get mine at unjury.com, but I believe someone sad Wal mart carries it. Just make sure you get whey protein. That is the protein full of the amino acids our bodies need. -

Sammi, Your body cannot survive on 10 oz of water a day. Every organ needs to be hydrated to function. I am glad you are not experiencing any complications, but you've got to get more water in or you will. Sip, sip, sip all day. It's obnoxious how I have my water bottle with me at all times now. Good luck. Keep trying to get more in, please! -

5 days for me and it was barely a poop. Now it's about every 3 or 4 days. I'm still not regular, but our food I take is so small there is not much to expel. I had no trouble getting in and out of bed. I sleep with a small pillow pressed on my tummy. I find if I sit straight up for too long, it is a bit painful. -
Way to go!

SimplySouthern, you are so strong. Hang in there. It will get better. Are you in less pain now? What did they find out on your last trip to the hospital? I continue o pray or you daily.
