Am I getting enough protein and vitamins!

I didn't start my vitamins again until I was two weeks post op, you start them back when you go on the purée diet which is stage 2. -
Am I getting enough protein and vitamins!
Nurse Jen replied to CP3482's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I take two flinstones vitamins a day, one morning and one and night. I take 1500 mg of calcium citrate a day. I space those out two hours a apart and two hours from my vitamins and your boost can only absorb 500 mg at a time and your vitamins will block the absorption if the calcium. -

I did two a day, I used the premier protein shakes. I bought mine at SAM's club. They are 30 grams a piece. Now I do one shake and one protein bar to get 60 grams. -

Thanks!! Definitely feel better -
Hi! I am 28 and had my surgery 9/25/12...I started at 364 and am now 273.9. I would be lying if I said the journey was easy but being 3 months post op I would say my life is mostly back to normal and I am enjoying my new body. I was lucky to have supportive friends but in the beginning no one really understood what I was going through and that is when I found this site. It helps to have people who know what you have been through and going through to talk to. I also do not regret having this surgery, your surgeon should go over all your stats with you so you can make an informed decision.
