My surgeon gives pain meds for 3 weeks.

Does anyone else have like a constant hiccup??

Its not like regular hiccups. Its a rather big one and its random.. Like I get a couple every hour or so.. SO annoying!

I am on pureed and my book says Grits is a yes at this stage but everyone surgeon is different!

Will be 4 weeks out tomorrow on my Quarter of a Century birthday!

I brought tons of stuff.

Never used anything but my phone.

They really have everything you need.

liquid for 3 weeks.

pureed from week 3-8.

Soft food from week 8 to 3 months.

3 months onward is good choices!

I have a weird craving for Raisin Bran cereal!

So weird. I've never really eaten it before, maybe a couple times but raisins sound really good right now and I am not about to puree them!

I was told we can't even try to take any pills til after 3 months.

It's probably that.

I had surgery 4/29 too.

I am nauseated 24/7 and force stuff down my throat all day.

Also had 2 complications so it might be from that but hang in there.

Im trying pureed hormel turkey chili with no Beans hope it doesn't bother my pouch has anyone else tried it??? It tastes good so far with a little melted cheddar cheese

I was going to do this too.. Haven't been to the store to pick it up. Let me know how it goes for you!

Ive had severe regret everyday, 23 days.

Had 2 complications and its been hell.

U can have crackers on pureed? ? Lucky u

I chew them so much that there is nothing left of them.

I am told not to advance to another phase diet until seen or told by your surgeon.

I was on liquids for 3 weeks after surgery, I think its way too soon for pureed.< /p>

Craziest thing I've heard in awhile.. lol

Just had an ounce of chicken salad on 2 reduced fat ritz crackers and 2 tablespoons of lf cottage cheese.. Took 35 mins to eat it, so far so good!

First day on Purred.

I FINALLY ate a scrambled egg!! 22 days post op and finally chewed a scrambled egg with a little low fat shredded cheese.. WAS THE BEST.

Kinda nervous that I didn't feel full. Took my time, about 20 minutes to eat it.

But then again, I dont have any feelings, never hungry or full on anything.

I told you if you need to vent i am a good listener.

Oh no, why? I have big bumps under my arms they say is staph. What did you get?

I've lost 54 pounds since I've been doing this, but lost 31 since surgery.

Clostridium difficile.

I've been on one round of meds for it, this is my 2nd round. If it doesn't go away, I have to go see the specialist.

Also had another surgery 4 days after my rny to take my appendix out. It's been hell.

Seen my surgeon today for 3 week post check up.

Might have to go to an infectious disease doctor.

So regret having this all done.

I was approved, given a pre op apt and given a date then. Approval to date was about 2 weeks.

Every office is different. No comparisons.

3 weeks post op today.. Go see my surgeon tomorrow, purred diet coming up.

I am 3 weeks today and mine still aren't even close to being healed.
