I enjoy going to the gym also!

I have been going for 3 months now and most of the workers greet me by name when I walk in!

I'm almost done with my 6 month pre op diet and they have had me drinking only 1/2 caffeine so that I don't get that bad once I have to stop.

Im pre op right now and they having me work on it.. it is SO hard.

A go-to here is frozen bananas puréed with whatever other flavored you want-- it's so creamy!

Never heard of that. Sounds good!

It'll all go by so fast!

They teased me by having me do everything in 3 months, got denied because I needed 6.

So frustrating but it'll all be worth it!

Im only 6 weeks away from the end of my 6 months, just keep that goal in mind and keep up with good choices!

The only goal I had was set by my surgeon.

I only have 6 weeks left of my 6 months and the surgeon is having me lose 15 pounds.

I am working with the nutritionist and she writes down all my information on each visit and sends it with my insurance packet.

One I have my pre-op with the surgeon he will then go over my weight loss with my nutritionist.

I did 35 minutes yesterday!!

I keep adding time each time.

My nut yesterday was so proud, it felt good to give her some good news of what I've been doing with my food changes! She called me a rockstar.

But I noticed at like the 10 minute mark my toes go numb.. I've googled it and apparently this happens to A LOT of people. Some say shoes, weight balance but has anyone else had this problem?

Very encouraging. I can barely do 5 min without feeling like I'm dying. Will remember your stories next time I go gym instead of avoiding the elliptical.

I couldn't even make it to the 2 minute mark a few weeks ago!

Are you not seeing a nutritionist or dietitian?

She helps me so much through it all!

And the above post is right, if certain items aren't in the house, most likely you will not go back out to the store and you will go without it.

I was wondering this too.

I know everyone's recovery is different but hearing from you guys would be great!

I had mine about 3 months ago.. It was a piece of cake for me.

I just sat with this lady in her office and we talked, having a normal conversation about surgery.

Was about 35-45 minutes and said I was a great candidate to be successful and wished me the greatest of luck when I left!

Hope yours is just as easy!
