I went in Monday morning and left Thursday afternoon, was back in the hospital Thursday night having emergency surgery and in the hospital until that following Monday.

2 weeks post op today.

Im so hungry for something other than yogurt or soup.

10 days post op. Still in regret. Lost 24 pounds since surgery, doesn't make up for what I've been thru.

I only had a liquid diet the day before surgery. All surgeons are different But I think you'll be fine.

Having the most horrible experience of my life. Something so exciting has been nothing but.... Surgery was Monday. Couldn't keep down Water until Wednesday. Finally went home Thursday, only to return to the ER Thursday night with fever/chills. I was admitted to the hospital, joy! My appendix needed to come out. Was VERY ill, come to found out it was C-Diff from all the antibiotics they gave me. In for surgery I go. Friday/Sat/Sun/ horrible horrible horrible horrible. Some of the Worst days of my life. I cried to so many nurses, I praise the lord I have a couple excellent nurses who became a friend pretty much and helped me thru. Today, I am ok. Im breathing. Still nothing close to feeling good. If I could turn back time right now, I would have never shown up for surgery on Monday. :( :(

Not to good. Ate about 1/4 of a cup of soup, yogurt and pudding for lunch. (All together 1/4 cup) Ate about 1/8 cup of yogurt for dinner. Just keeping the water in my hand all the time. Not feeling to good. The hospital had living on water and jello since Monday, so its been pure hell and I wish I could turn back time. Also on 2 meds, 3 times a day, which make me want to puke.

Sorry I didn't respond. Was admitted to hospital the night I came home. Horrible horrible horrible experience. Full of regret. I made a post, long story.

Finally home!! Drinking my protein shake right now for my 3 oclock. Had to stay an extra day. I couldn't keep anything down on Tuesday. Did good yesterday and today!

Surgery day is here for me!! (Sorry If I misspell, this sickness patch on my ear I had to put on last night makes me drowsy still. Seeing double, lol.) Good luck to my surgery date buddies! And good luck everyone tomorrow!

I just drank my bottle of Magnesium Citrate about an hour ago, it wasn't that bad as I thought it was going to be. I am more nauseated than anything. Only clear liquids today!

Mine took 4 weeks. I've seen some have surgery the following week, and others waiting 2 months. There is too many varieties of what the doctor is looking for also.

Starting my clear liquid diet today! Surgery tomorrow.. *happy dance*

It's a new day! Get back on your diet path. I only have a liquid diet the day before surgery. Thank god.

Maybe the straw that you have with the iced coffee? I was told straws bring a lot of air bubbles down with the liquid.
