Im with you on this. Ive had severe regret everyday, 23 days. Had 2 complications and its been hell. Hang in there.

I chew them so much that there is nothing left of them.

I am told not to advance to another phase diet until seen or told by your surgeon. I was on liquids for 3 weeks after surgery, I think its way too soon for pureed.

Craziest thing I've heard in awhile.. lol

Just had an ounce of chicken salad on 2 reduced fat ritz crackers and 2 tablespoons of lf cottage cheese.. Took 35 mins to eat it, so far so good! First day on Purred.

Walmart sugar free popsicles in the bag are the BEST. Life savors! I FINALLY ate a scrambled egg!! 22 days post op and finally chewed a scrambled egg with a little low fat shredded cheese.. WAS THE BEST. Kinda nervous that I didn't feel full. Took my time, about 20 minutes to eat it. But then again, I dont have any feelings, never hungry or full on anything.

I've lost 54 pounds since I've been doing this, but lost 31 since surgery. Clostridium difficile. I've been on one round of meds for it, this is my 2nd round. If it doesn't go away, I have to go see the specialist. Also had another surgery 4 days after my rny to take my appendix out. It's been hell.

Seen my surgeon today for 3 week post check up. Might have to go to an infectious disease doctor. So regret having this all done.

I was approved, given a pre op apt and given a date then. Approval to date was about 2 weeks. Every office is different. No comparisons.

3 weeks post op today.. Go see my surgeon tomorrow, purred diet coming up.

I am 3 weeks today and mine still aren't even close to being healed.

3 weeks post tomorrow and I've regretted everyday so far.

I've been wanting gum but I am afraid of swallowing it, lol.

Started my 2 round of dosage for my infection.. such a horrible medicine. Cant even focus on my bypass because of these 2 complications I've had. Just want this to be over!

Pain was controlled VERY well by the nurses in the hospital and my surgeon had given me Roxicet, acetaminophen and oxycodone, which worked VERY well, to go home with. Except the one time in the begining they had me on morphine and some other one, which made me so nauseated. I barely ever had any pain and I had a compilation with another surgery 4 days after my rny. And losing food and having only liquid after surgery is VERY hard. I went thru almost a year of preparing for surgery but nothing can prepare you for it. Very hard.

You can do it! He gave me 15lbs to lose in my 6 months and I lost 23. Keep your eye on the prize. ...fyi, same doctor, another patient of his I know, gained 11 pounds and they still went thru with her surgery.

I had to do it 4 days after my RNY, they had me drink half of the bottle and gave me 25 minutes to do it.

Im doing horrible. The only shakes I can get down is the CIB and I add a little unflavored protein powder and use milk for like 25g of protein in the morning. Other than that I eat yogurt for lunch and cream soup and yogurt for dinner and that is it. I drink about 48oz of water thru the day.. Im just miserable. But I had 2 complications with my surgery so, Im VERY off. Seeing my nut this week and the doctor in a week.

Glad to see you at 3 weeks feeling like that! I am 2 weeks post op today and still miserable. I can only hope I feel the way you do soon! Congrats!
