Am I the only one on this board who cannot stand Al Roker?? He is the reason why I only watch the 4th hour of the Today Show! Well Hoda is pretty fabulous anyways!

It'll all go by so fast! They teased me by having me do everything in 3 months, got denied because I needed 6. So frustrating but it'll all be worth it! Im only 6 weeks away from the end of my 6 months, just keep that goal in mind and keep up with good choices!

The only goal I had was set by my surgeon. I only have 6 weeks left of my 6 months and the surgeon is having me lose 15 pounds. I am working with the nutritionist and she writes down all my information on each visit and sends it with my insurance packet. One I have my pre-op with the surgeon he will then go over my weight loss with my nutritionist. -
I did 35 minutes yesterday!! I keep adding time each time. My nut yesterday was so proud, it felt good to give her some good news of what I've been doing with my food changes! She called me a rockstar. But I noticed at like the 10 minute mark my toes go numb.. I've googled it and apparently this happens to A LOT of people. Some say shoes, weight balance but has anyone else had this problem?

I couldn't even make it to the 2 minute mark a few weeks ago! You can do it too!!!

Back to see my nutritionist tomorrow morning.. After insurance denying me, I have to keep visiting her until March!

Are you not seeing a nutritionist or dietitian? She helps me so much through it all! And the above post is right, if certain items aren't in the house, most likely you will not go back out to the store and you will go without it.

I had mine about 3 months ago.. It was a piece of cake for me. I just sat with this lady in her office and we talked, having a normal conversation about surgery. Was about 35-45 minutes and said I was a great candidate to be successful and wished me the greatest of luck when I left! Hope yours is just as easy!

On the plus side, it gives me another month or so to lose my initial weight loss the surgeon wanted! Im ALMOST there.

Yea. I was denied. Insurance said I need a couple more appointments which the bariatric coordinator still doesn't agree with and doesn't add up in his paperwork. I can send in the other paper work for my upcoming appointments in about 6 weeks. Such a long journey! I hope the 2nd time is a charm!
