I was told that too. If u get rashes or sores in the folds of your stomach it could cause infections. You have to have them thoroughly documented though. I'm sure it would need to be more than 1 or 2 incidents. -
Hello everyone, I'm very happy to have found out about this site! I will be finished all of my appointments for clearance as of 10/12 & I'm getting very anxious now. I'm looking forward to learning from each of you & sharing my experiences as well!

Ok, thanks. I had my last life skills class tonight. I just can't wait to get this show on the road. I have high blood pressure & am borderline diabetic. I saw my pcp today & he said he will do my 3 month a1c at next months visit. If it hasn't improved he wants to start me on meds. I can't have that.

Has anyone had to do the optifast diet for 2 weeks prior to surgery? How was it? Trying to see if I'm going to be hungry during that time. I've been drinking 2 protein shakes a day as meal replacements & eating a sensible dinner, but I have to say that I'm still hungry after drinking the shakes drinshshakes.

Congrats! How long did it to you to get approved & what insurance do u have? Trying to gauge how long it will be for me to get a decision after my surgeon submits the paperwork

I would also try doing a cleanse. We can carry 5-20 lbs of excess weight in our colon. Ridding your body of that will help! -
