Here's a recent one. My parents live in another country but we skype often. We haven't skyped for a month but talked on the phone. Last week I was out of town. They called hubby to ask if I really lost all.the weight I "claimed" to have lost! Hubby told them that they wouldn't recognize me now. After going slightly off track for a few days, I set my goal weight for Christmas, decided on eliminating all carbs from my diet. I put these in front of my desk to keep me motivated & on track. When I crave anything badly, one bite is all I take. Take it easy on yourself & set your next goal. So, here's a concern am having. After my five week weigh in, my doctor advised me to increase my calorie intake to a minimum of 800 the days I work out and 600 otherwise. I've been trying hard to follow this closely, and I think it's working because I lost almost 5 lbs in a week. My concern is my pouch. Will it grow bigger becauase I snack on greek yogurt and low calorie chips? Am terrified For my regular meals, I still havw the same amounts with more Protein in. So? I felt the same a year ago & started having knee problems as well. I had RNY 10 weeks ago and I haven't taken any medication for my knee ever since. It's getting much better with every pound off. My dietation said not less than 800 cals/day especially when I work out. am 10 weeks out, take about 80-100 grams of Protein and 600-800 cals/day (600 regular days & 800 workout ones) Am down 60 lbs and still 120 to go Sent from my Galaxy S III using RNYTalk
