Can someone tell me if turkey or beef jergy is bad for us while trying to lose weight?

I too have dry mouth and I hate it. My doctor told me to suck on SF candy when needed. It helps. Also, I have found that drinking sf lemonade helps too. Let me know if this helps?

Eggs r good. I love to make tuna patties. Mix a can of tuna and one egg. Mix well and I cook with olive oil. Don't forget to add ur spices. Eat with cottage cheese and tomatoes slices. Yummy. -

I had my surgery 8-21-12. So I went to see my doctor on my 3rd month and was told that I didn't lose enough. Since my surgery i've lost 42lbs. I went back on liquids for a week. Now am eating only chicken, veggies, fruits. I've been looking on here for other stuff I can eat. I am on stage 4 but I'd like to know what others are eating for breakfast etc. I just started walking and riding my bike because I wasn't feeling well. If someone can send me to the right place for info on this I'd greatly appreciate. -

I had my surgery Aug 28,12. So sorry to hear that ur having a hard time. It is hard but think about the outcome. You have to think positive. I'm home alone all day so I don't have much support. So what I did is bought me some index cards and wrote on them and taped them everywhere in my home. Some say things like: YOU CAN DO THIS, THIS IS MY NEW LIFE, GOOD JOB BABY,. I EVEN HAD MY HUSBAND AND SON WRITE SOME FOR ME. IT KEEPS ME GOING STRONG. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU.

Don't feel ashamed mami:-) I think a lot of us have been there. I had to shop for my children at the secondhand stores too. Like you I found a lot of nice clothes. 15 years later and still shopping at any secondhand store I find but now I shop for my grandchildren. My daughter and daughter in law love to go shopping with me now. Yard sales are even better. -
Hello,:-) today is my first day on this. I've been reading a lot of the posting and find them very helpful and very interesting. I'm learning how to use it so please be patient with me. :-) So here I am. My starting weigh 347 lbs. My surgery was on August 28,2012 and I'm feeling great! Yes it was hard to lose the weigh before surgery but I did it cause I was determine to get this done. I lost 30 pounds in 3 months. :-) Then after surgery I lost 13 more. I was in the hospital 2 days and I never felt any pain. I felt sorness but no pain. But I made sure to press that button every time that light turn on. So it was time to go home now. My sister picked me up and took me to her home and took care of me. Thank goodness for sisters :-) Stage 1 went good. Lots of broth, SF jello, SF Popsicles, decaff tea and water, water, water. Don't forget to sip. Stage 2 was good too. Still ate some of stage 1 stuff but now on pureed diet. (Low in fat and no sugar). I ate broil chicken, vegetables...really soft, egg, fruit and started drinking my protein shake. I went to Walmart and bought the Whey protein drinks because it has 52 grams. The strawberry and chocolate with peanut butter tastes pretty good. Now I'm on stage 3 a soft diet and still feeling good. Oh and remember to take your vitamins and minerals please. So...now I can start chewing my food...yay! Its still the same food & etc but I don't have to pureed. I'm still doing a little of stage 1 because I love jello, Popsicles and decaff tea. Today... I always start with my protein shake so I know I got my 52 grams to start the day. I added 1oz of banana in it...pretty good. Lunch I ate mozaralli string cheese with turkey rolled around the cheese. Snack-sf popsicle and for dinner I had a yogurt and if I get a little hungry later I'll eat a couple of pieces of fruit. I'm pretty much full all day. I have my doctor visit on the 24th of this month and ill have to do my blood work two days before to check if all is well...keeping my fingers crossed:-) . Well I hope I didn't bore you all with my story.
