I was able to eat full liquids fine but as of yesterday im only able to take a few spoonfuls of soup :/ if I try to take in anymore it hurts and comes up right now I'm just sipping on protein shakes and sf Popsicles... I'm 17 days post-op

So sorry your in alot of pain. Is it back pain?? I looked up flexeril and it's ok to take its not a NSAID make sure to check with your doc before taking anything maybe u need to be checked to make sure u didn't strain or hurt something Feel better soon!

Ugh yes it is hang in there it's the worst when it's around my monthly cycle!! I crave sweet and salty and coke with crushed ice :/ a good alternative I like are Quakers caramel rice cakes!!

Hi Destineex33 I love the cafe caramel latte Protein shakes from Atkins they taste just like a Starbucks latte u can add ice and blend them too!!

Hi I went in with type 2 diabetes controlled by metformin 1000mg 2 a day after surgery I was completely off them now I have to watch that my sugar doesn't get too low sometimes it's around 78 and I need to drink something to bring it up

I'm also a thrift store shopper right now I also love garage sales!! One tip I like to do since I love my jeans is turn them inside out and sew the excess to my size right now it's easy and saves $$

I've seen alot of posts that ppl were sent home with binders after surgery. I didn't get one does it help? Where can i buy one??

Ugh I'm Still in sooo much pain!!! I'm taking my antibiotics 4x a day due to a wound infection and loratab liquid pain reliever every 4 hrs I no longer have gauze packed in my open incision so it can drain and close on its own but as soon as my pain med wears off I can't even stand straight So frusterating!! I had RNY Sept 10th. Sorry just venting!! So gross!

Went to see my doc today he changed the packing on my open wound that's infected. Feeling alot better pre-surgery wt 238 today 232!! It's coming off slow but I'm not able to walk as much as I would like until my wound heals :/

Thank u Maria she said oh u won't even feel it just relief from the pressure. Uh no i felt it and she finally numbed it. Im feeling alot better today pain wise now the nausea seems to be kicking in probably because of the strong antibiotic
