jknap01 started following Officially On The Losers' Bench As Of Today!, Chike Protein Is The Best I Have Ever Had!, Nausea and and 7 others

Called the doctor and they were very helpful. They explained that because we are in rapid weightloss our bodies are creating ketones while it burns fat. Ketones make the body feel crappy- tired, nauseous, dizzy, etc. So, they told me to drink more to flush out the ketones and I should feel better. Makes sense to me, now to try to take more liquids in.

No, because I am only 5 days post op from the second surgery and wasn't sure if this might be normal at this point.
-
I agree! My original surgery was Sept 21st, and had to go back Oct 19th. This 2nd surgery has been rough and I am not feeling well at all. I am so tired, dizzy, nauseous, just feel like crap. I don't think I'll ever look at food the same way again.

Will I ever get past the constant nausea that I have at all times anymore?!?! This is so frustrating.

Someone recommended chike protein powder, and it's honestly the best I have ever tasted. No gritty, no aftertaste, very good -
Vomiting most if not all foods, eating very little, liquids want to come back up, pain on sides. I never feel like eating because I'm always sick!

Thought I had a structure too, went for the scope, here I have to areas on my small intestine that are closed. Surgery for me on Friday! Ugh
-
So, I am almost 4 weeks post op and about 10 days ago I started with persistent vomiting and food becoming stuck when I eat. Went for the scope today, and I have a small bowel obstruction. Need to have a barium swallow and then surgery to correct. Anyone aware of this procedure?
-
keeps getting stuck and won't go down. I normally have no choice but to vomit to get it out. Anyone else?

My doctor explained to me that in the beginning our pouch is larger but as it heals it becomes tighter due to scar tissue and healing. Do after 3 weeks or so we may more restriction as we eat
