where do you get the cream? or is it something you can buy over the counter. i have a update for everyone. i went about 3 weeks ago to get a fill. well dr.miles couldn't get it. so lisa had to come in and do the fill. come to fine out my port as turned sideways some. they said no big deal there. i was like ok then. well lisa pulled some of the fill out and was suppost to put it back in plus .5cc's. well i went home and done liquids for 24 hrs. wll after that i start to feel hungry the next day. i notice after i had eatten i didnt get full like i should. i just took it as my feel just didnt kick in yet. so the next day the samething happen. so i called and got a appointment to see the dr. then that night i started to feel the restriction. so i didnt go to the dr. aftr about 2 days the restriction was gone again. so im gong to call and go tot he dr and see what they can fine out. im hoping that when lisa put the feel back in she didnt put all of it back in. so wish me luck. so far i have done good i think. i have tried to eat as best as i can with the restriction i got.

thanks yea it would be a rush to get to it and then back home and get ready and go to the wedding. we might meet up with you guys before we go that day.

i was thinking about it. it will be pushing it. i would have to leave the meeting by 1130-12 if so. what do you think. i have tried the muscle milk and its nasty. i like the one walmart sales more then any of them. thats what i use now along with the protein shots. on a side not i just posted some side by side pics of me from the start to about 4 months ago. and wow, i didnt realize until then i looked like that. it really did hurt me to see that pic of me. i don't know how i even got around at that weight. it make sme realize that the hard time i have nowe losing the last 70-80 ounds is well worth the fight. roll tide roll:thumbup:

sounds like me and you have the samething. im not feeling good at all. i hope i get feeling better by saturday, if not i want be going to c and sars shower. and i hate to miss that.

they have them about 2 times a year. just need to ask when they are going to have another one. and kaninag, sorry i havent been here much. i have been so busy around the house and it seems like i don't have time anymore for anything. just like kaniag said, theres no way you have done anything to your pouch. and just like other people said, somepeople feel some restriction and some don't until a few feels. myself i had some. but stick in therer and just do what they ask you to do and you will be fine. i went in today to see the dr and got a small fill..5cc. im doing fine now. everyone in the office was saying i didnt look the same and the girls pulled my pics up and talked about them with me for sometime. and they took my pic again today. i guess since today is my band birthday. one year post op today. now if i can lose another 75 pounds before this time next year i will be set.

soft foods was so great when i got there. mashed potatos never tasted so good.

hello everyone! im sorry i haven't been on here in sometime. i been real busy around the house and with the kids. i will be at the support group meeting saturday. im actually going to be there at 8 am. im bring 2 people to see the dr's talk on the lap band. hows everyone doing? im doing ok i guess not really losing on the scales but my waist is going down in size. i go back to see miles on the 26th and going to see about another small feel then. maybe a .25cc for me and then i hope im done with them.

i will ask saturday at the support meeting

only thing i take is the vitaims. and if i dont get my protein in a take some protein shots.(shooters)

ok the alabama meet and greet is now set in stone. details is as listed below. place - springvalley beach food there. and you are allow to bring food in the park if you would like to. they do have Lifeguards on duty. they are located 2 miles north of Blountsville off of Hwy 231 on County Road 55. you can map Quest it if you need be, if you have never been there like me. and remeber.... No alcohol is permitted. i started on the thread mill about 5 weeks out. and then i started lifting weights about 8 weeks out. doctor said i could do it 6 weeks out but i waited 2 extra weeks.

just got back from the gym and im worn out. i have been trying to workout extra hard. i can't get the scales to move this last week. and it looks like its a no go on the steele trip today also it is rain hard here at the house.

i had my surgery on aug 26 2008 and i have lost 120 pounds since then. i have 6 cc's in my 9cc band. they are some other men in my support group that has lost more but im catching up with them now. jason r

slimming to the tee there. :thumbdown: and the gas will go away. some people have it longer then others. i used gasx to help with mine.

i think you are doing a great thing. a support group is so important to all of us. good luck with it. and if anyone of you are not attending a support group meeting you need to start. i go to one every month. it is a great think. jason r

it's raining! that makes me feel better. at least it is raining here. that makes me feel a little better but still feel bad. kaninag, that sounds like a good idea. we need to sit down and right alot of this down and that way me or someone else can persent that to the sponsors. i think i can get my sisters company to help out some.

i just hate letting peole down when they are lookng forward to something, thats just how i am. imy wife always tells me i try to make everyone happy when i can't make everyone happy. and thanks, we will start working on another one asap. and im sure your pocket book is happy...lol mine is to. i gave them a call and they just said they couldn't do it. but would like to talk to me about helping out the next time we try to do something up there. im not pushing it because i would like them to help out next time. im going to contact vernoica when she gets back from vacation and talk to her about getting a sponsor. im also goig to contact other doctors and she what they think. it would be some good advertisement for them i think.

yea i think it would be for the best. we will try to do something for xmas. and don't worry about the money. it is norefundable but its no big deal. trust me its ok. lets just try and set a date for one for xmas time and see what we can do. thanks everyone for helping out and im sorry again.:crying:

And once angain im very very sorry for this.
