theres just one size for the realize band. but it is designed to go over 9cc if needed. i have 6cc's now in mine and i believe i might need some took out. i have lost over 78 pounds in alittle over 6 months now.

im sorry to see that you all are having problems with your band. i believe i have done good with mine. i have 6cc's in mine now. i have lost over 78 pounds in just a little over 6 months. i did feel some restriction on my 2 nd fill and my 3rd was wow. im thinking about going and getting some took out. by what i read your dr's didnt do a good job with support and it also looks like some might not have looked into it enough. may i ask if you all is going support group meetings monthy? and doing your excrise 3 times a week? getting at least 60 grams of Protein and 64 oz of Water in daily? also make sure to read your labels on your food. make sure they are no more then 5 grams of fat and 15 grams of carbs per serving. im am willing to talk and help out anyone i can you can pm me anytime and ask me anything. i hope it gtes better all of you.

glad you made it over here. i believe you will enjoy this group of people in here. they are very glad to help out if need. i put togather the t-shirts and me and kaninag is getting one apiece done. i will let everyone know how they turn out when i get them. im hoping to have them by the next support group. if we can get a order of ten our more up i can get them screen printed for about 7 bucks a piece. up to a xl. and its a dollar more for bigger sizes. but they all have to say the same thing also.

ok heres a few of me. i tried to fine some before but couldnt. it looks like i was hiding behind the camera most of the time. i started at 419 and now im 331.

im sorry kaninag i never have felt that. you might need to call the dr and ask him. im going to fine out the prices today. and they do any screen printing you need done.

well i had some sweat pants and tshirt. and some crocs. and dont worry if you was like me you want remember the trip home. i didnt feel anything until that night and then i just took my pain meds and i was back to sleep.

im sorry i forgot not everyone on here is a dr miles our schmitt patient. and yes 60grams of protein and 64 oz of water. thats what you need everyday. thats why i believe we get the better service from miles and schmitt then others get from there dr's. i have talked to people that didnt know you needed to even get protein in daily.

hello Krista! glad to see a newbie in here. i try to tell everyone i see about the site. dont know if we have talked at the support groups our not but be sure to come when you can. i will not take no either. so show up. and also congrats on the sugery date. i know you will do great. we all have. but like others have told you it didnt happen over night. just take it one day at a time and you will be looking at the scale dropping in no time. also make sure you go by the rules,64-60 and 5grams fat and 15 grams carbs per serving when you go to solids foods. and drink alot of water. it will be tuff at times but we all are fighters and we can do it. your new life we begin before long so get ready to enjoy it.

well nsv lets see 1. for the first time i havent got anything to wear because its all to big. 2. i had to down size 4 sizes in pants in my work unforums, instead of upsizing. 3. i can look down from standing up and see my feet.lol i know. 4. i put my seat belt on the other day in my truck and i didnt have to pull it all the way out to buckle up. 5. i can play for hours with the kids outside and not be dead afterwards. 6. i dont have to take my blood pressure meds anymore. i could go on...... thanks kaninag, i really needed this i feel better now.

Flintstone Chewable for me. but you need to take 3 of thema day. you can buy some barctric (sp) chewables and only have to take 1 aday.

first congrats on your surgery date! second dont worry about gaining a few pounds during this time. it will be ok. the reason most people gain weight during this time is we think we might need to eat some thing that will not beable to afterwards. so we go ahead and eat. third, the pre diet isnt bad at all. i believe i only did it for 3 days and my dr told me he wish he had me do the 2 week diet. it really helps surgery go so much better when your liver shrinks down some. but dont worry you can do it. so make sure you do the diet. foruth, make sure you DO the support group meetings and COME here and ask anything you want. it really does help out alot.

crawfish boil sounds liek it would be fun. i have always wanted to go. i think we just might go this time. kaninag talk to zach about it and let us know. i will talk to kim. and it is going to be nice to go to fl with great freinds. we just might need to make a yearly thing.

cream potatos was great for me. dont think meatloaf is good at this point. you should still be on mushie foods at this point. but every dr is alittle different. i didnt eat any type of meat until i was 4 weeks out.

dont worry you will get there. i have a realize band and i dint even have much until my 3rd fill and im thinking about gettting an unfill now. im up to 6cc's and i cant eat much at all. and until about 3pm i can eat nothing with out it coming back up. so i drink alot until dinner.
