Crying over yesterdays diapers so to speak
michelecaples posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have, been a little ddepressed because I found bags and bags of plus size clothes in my garage. Of course these things are huge on me. I am donating them and never going to see them again. Thee are just some gorgeous things there and momentos from places I have gone and concerts, etc . It makes me sad. I know I will make new memories but moving on from those is hard. Feels like im throwing myself away in the process. -

Its more likely that your poych is swollen and angry due to eating outside of recommended guidelnes early on. Hopefully thats, all it is. If they thought you had a leak I would think they would do surgery right away. Thats deadly -

Thanks everyone! I feel a little better just getting that off,my chest. It seems silly, but those clothes symbolized comfort to me. Not knowing what size I will end up is scary, yet exciting. Goodbye old body and old clothes! -

Hope it all turns out okay with the surgery and tests. I didnt start exercising until 4 months out. Your body will lose the, weight at its own pace no matter what you do. -
During your stage the foods flow right through so you feel hungry faster. True hunger you feel in your upper chest and neck. Learned this on dr oz and its true. You feel as if being strangled when you reach true hunger. Sounds to me like you are doing well. Just put in what you can each day. I have never met the requirements for water or protein, but my blood tests are excellent no deficiencies. Just do what you need to do the best you can

You will lose in the first year no matter what you do right or wrong. This is what my surgeon and nut told me. However, you need to form habits that will keep you from regain in year 2. Most people gain 10 percent weight back. You still have a long way to go. Your journey is just beginning.

From what I have seen and read you lose for a year to two. Depends. I am about 33 lbs from goal weight and I am 6 months post op.

michelecaples replied to LeticiaHuggins's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Using goid products helps. Dont go cheap with your hair care. Get hair cut often and use treatments and your hair will look great even if a few, strands go. I lost some hair. It came back. No worries. I have never taken.special vitamins for hair. My nut says that is a farse. We will all lose a little but it comes back. -
