Could NOT be happier with my choice of hospitals or surgeons. He said everything went flawlessly. Was expecting mild to moderate liver enlargement, but thanks to a 70+ pound weight loss before surgery that was not even a factor. Slowly feeling better each day. Be patient and listen to your pouch!!! Jeff

Ok guys...I'm attending all the classes and support meetings. I am SUPER motivated to get down to a healthy weight. Are any of you out there in my same weight class? I am wondering what kind of long term weight loss I can and should expect...within reason!!! I don't think I will ever get below 200. Jeff

I'm READY!!! Met with the surgeon last week and February 22nd can't get here soon enough. My last official class for the 3 month program was Friday. The bariatric surgery review board will meet the Thursday after Christmas and discuss all possible patients. As of Friday I had successfully lost 36 pounds which I am VERY proud of!!!!!!!! I'm currently preparing and tasting various kinds of clear liquid protein options so I know what I will be able to handle during my clear liquid phase. My motivation has been 6 preop photos that I had my wife take before I began this journey. I keep them in my bedside table and view them EVERY morning and night. I will NEVER let myself look like that again. Thanks you all for listening. I wish everyone much success. And most importantly...being a loser can make you feel like a winner if the company is proper!!!!!!!! Jeff

Ladies and gentlemen....friends I have made and friends I have yet to meet, I want to that you all for this site and the sharing of your experiences. I'm not nervous...merely excited to get it over with. As of Thursday I was down a total of 37 pounds preop. And that's without any exercise...due to my bad ankle. If anyone else is near Allentown, PA and using Lehigh Valley or Dr. Harrison please get in touch with me. I wish you all the beat of success. Jeff
