I am just really praying that I am misunderstanding and mu surgery will be in October after my psych evaluation on the 3rd which is done at the weight loss center and they are doing it as an all day appointment instead of 2 or 3 appointments -
Blue Cross Blue Shield Highmark

Ok I have a stupid question. Ok so bcbs requirements are6 months right? So they counted April as my first appointment so April may June July August September makes 6 months right? Makes 6 weigh ins. Right? -
I have been doing that. Lot 3 pounds of the 5 I need to lose by the 24th. So I am going back to my 1500 calorie diet that nut put me on. I changed it to 1200 to help but the only thing it did was make me obsessed about food more and ffelt guilty if o went over 10 calories over 1200

Ok so I have lost 3.2 pounds of the 5 I have to lose by the 24th. Which is good buttt. My appointment is I'm the evening and I am weighing in the morning when I wake up and after an hour I will get back in and weigh 2 pounds more. So I am not sure if I have lost anything. Being all said this is making me think I have to lose way more then the 5 pounds so it will show up as 5 pounds at weigh in. What I have been doing is I reduced my calorie intake from 1500 to 1200 and upped exercise to be burning at least 700 calories a day. What can I change or do different to lose this weight in 10 days??

Mine will be on the 24th cooksie LOL
-
Mine is covered 100% no copay no doctor fees (at least doctor didn't say there was) I have already met all deductibles and out if pocket Max for the year

That's what I have Kelly through husband's work at the coal mines. They are really good except I hate the 6 (which really is 7) supervised weight loss requirements

I haven't even started getting ready yet. All I can focus on is this dang 5 pounds!!! LOL its driving me insane I am so obsessed by it ( definitely will not say that during psych evaluation) I really don't know a brand. My mom is a hairdresser too and she also said nexxium shampoo with biotin in it along with taking 5000mgs biotin -
October Surgery Dates

For those that don't want to lose hair get some biotin vitamins too. -
That is exactly what I am dealing with!! I have been hard core dieting changed my calories from 1500 to 1200. Upped my water intake and exercising a little more since August 23 and have only lost 3 pounds. I was told to lose at least 5 pounds by september 24. My weigh in is in the afternoon so I know I need to to lose more then the 5 pounds I was told to lose.

Not for awhile but it will only be a week liquid diet. But I have to lose some weight before my next appointment on the 24th. I have lost 3 pounds in a week but need to lose at least 4-5 more. But all together I need to lose 14 pounds
-
Anume is it a pure liquid diet? Or so you do protein drinks? Just curious if it can help me lose some weight before the 24th
-
When do you start pre op diet cooksie? Is it like the 1 to 2 week liquid diet before surgery? Or is it just low low carbs and protein drinks?
-
How exciting Lou!! I am anxious for ya LOL. And somewhat jealous everything is going at snails pace for me lol
-
Ok thanks my start was April this month makes 6 and October counts 7 then insurance approval I just wish it was going by faster
-
Not Complaining! But...

Nice going!!! I would definitely up my protein if you have hair loss and take biotin if your not already -
Did they change the 6 month requirements?
-
I have no clue yet. I have bcbs Highmark and required to do a 6 month supervised weight loss plan in which I started in April. This month makes the 6th month but since it has to be consecutive October will make final weigh in. I still have the psych evaluation to do on October 3rd being that said its all in how fast insurance approval is after my appointment October 23
-
Oh so cool. Why in December?
-
Good idea cooksie. Wish I could be on this list
-
I hope you feel better fast. Too bad surgery didn't mess up our sense of smell too. Just the smell of pizza and steak adds 10 pounds to me
-
That is a good idea but unfortunately I am an hour away

Weeeeee one more hurdle out of the way!!!
