I feel so guilty today I have eaten a small piece of chicken and should have not but I did... Onto tomorrow I know it wasn't the worst decision but I was doing so well not eating anything and sticking to my preop diet ... 10 more days and then surgery so I won't eat another thing again... I just hope this doesn't screw anything up for me... it's been tough living with my family and them eating food right under my nose is like torture and makes me uncomfortable..... And my sister said today she's sooooo hungry and starving and I laughed and said ur hungry and she got all (excuse my French) BITCHY and said you're the one who decided to do surgery... Might I mind you she's my size maybe even bigger and she's shorter I weigh about 305 right now so it's like you're same weight always saying how I'm Gna be skinny and you're still Gna be fat and you're being rude to me... I always tell her to do something about it if she feels that wy... And she gets all kinds of rude and mad when I tell her that... Ahh sorry for rambling and venting i just hungry and feel so guilty for eating a small piece of chicken ahhhhh today has been rough

Awesome I'm on day 3 of my diet get bad headaches at night and hungry but I can't wait time is going by fast ahh I can't wait!! How are you all holding up?

Got the call today and I'm approved!! Waiting for scheduling and I will be on my way to the skinny me I'm excited beyond beliefe!! And wasn't long submitted to insurance last Thursday only took 7days to find out yaya!

Hey everyone, today I finally got everything in order and saw my 3rd surgeon for my last & final consult! (The other two I saw closed practices... ) and I finally got everything submitted to insurance today for my surgery! I'm so excited and cannot wait for the next 7 to 14 days to go by fast! I'm nervous and anxious to get my approval from insurance so I can set up my surgery... now, I started this process last august hopeing I would have had surgery in april. Well that wasn't the case cause I had to switch insurance plans because it was open enrollment this year for me. And now I'm definitely going to be having it next month! Cannot wait its been very stressful trying to get this all done... anyways a little about me... I'm 5'5 I weigh 312lbs (started this journey at 340lbs) I cannot wait and just wondering if any of yous out there are also waiting for insurance approvals. just needing some friendly people going thro the same with me so I can talk about all the ups and downs. I was told it can take up to 30days but usually only takes between 7 to 14days for approval. I'm excited and can't wait. Was told ill have the surgery around the middle of july long as everything goes well.

So not sure if I should post this anywhere but I'm really sad. My poor dog was doing just fine up until about 1130pm lastnight (arizona time) and I was up and down with her all night with her throwing up. This happened like 6 times and she's not thrown up about 5 times today. I'm forceing water down her throat with a medicine dropper. I believe she got parvo but I have NO idea how she would have gotten it. No she's not completely vaccinated and I know that doesn't help but she doesn't go anywhere that she could get it. I'm so sad and depressed because there is NO way I can afford a vet bill or even pay in payments. So I went and got some Parvaid for her and some pedialite to keep her hydrated. But I'm so scared she'll die. She's just a 4 lbs (at most and she's lost a lb or 2) little chihuahua. And she's like my baby. We are inseperable. If I walk in a different room and shut the door she cries so even if I gotta go #2 she's in there with me cause she's my little baby. She goes everywhere and I mean everywhere I go. I love her so much. And I would totally break if I lost her, especially since my surgery is coming up very very soon. My heart is just breaking and all I need is good thoughs and prayers please. I'm treating her and if she's better by Friday I'm taking her straight away to get her vaccinated. (She has 1 out of the 4 its just she got sick and the vet told me to wait 2 Weeks after treating her for worms and a bacterial infection and the 2 Weeks since I treated her just went by but I was waiting till Friday to vaccinate her and she got sick :-( prayers please!

So my old surgeon (he left the practice and has been trying to have me come back to him for him to do my surgery) he'll do whatever he can to get me back as his paitient. I know things happen for a reason but this morning I got an email from him stateing my new bariatric surgeon (who I reconsulted with back in january, whom I fell in love with as a surgeon because he's super informative and just the kind of doc I want to do my surgery) is no longer performing bariatric surgery! OMG talk about a heart attack! I seriously called my mom and asked if they called her and informed her of this or any letters came in the mail. Well long story short he's just trying to sabatoge my surgeon and have me go to him (sad thing is his office isn't open yet!) He said march or april now its april or may! Well I called my surgeon and he's not seeing new paitients as of now (probably cause my old surgeon who left has all his paitients to my new surgeon!) Anyways they asked my name and told me I'm ok because I'm already established with him. That totally made me feel better! But omg how can a dr do that to a paitient and tell them basically they are shit out of luck for having surgery unless then come to him! Thank the lord I still have this new surgeon because the other surgeon definitely ruined his chance of being my surgeon ever! I'm glad I'm established with my new surgeon because I only have a psych eval and consult with NUT and I'm able to submit to insurance! I'm wanting my surgery to be NO LATER than April 22 which is mine and my hubbys aniversary. But can you believe that this dr did this to me! Oh man! Thank you lord I know things happen for a reason and my reason is my surgeon is mine because that's how god wants it! Ok I'm done rambling on!

Of course as long as I have my surgery, but the problem is the fact that if this surgeon is trying to sabotage my surgeon there's a problen. I already told him I was sticking with my new surgeon then he trys to say that the practice is completely closeing and not practicing bariatric surgery anymore. He had and has no right to say this to anyone just so he can get paitients. I'm not going to go to him there are more surgeons in arizona that will take my insurance and I will go to the (if it was the case) before id go to him. I'm sticking with the surgeon I choose because he is a lot more experienced and I prefer him because he actualy talked with me about everything and the other one didn't say anything or answer any questions I had. so if I would have to switch it wouldn't be to him but thank the lord I'm ok and my surgeon will still be MY surgeon. I'm just angry because this other surgeon shouldn't have done that because I'm sure I'm not the only paitient he did this to and that's just wrong to do.... my opinion yeah stuff may not be fair but he had no right to do that. That's like someone saying a family member died but you find out they aren't dead just out of town or something... NOT COOL!

Seriously. I'm like why would you say the surgeon and company is not practicing anymore when they are they just aren't accepting new paitients. I've never in my life seen a dr do this to another one! I'm happy that I'm ok and they aren't stopping I seriously cried though cause that would break my heart if this happened. I'm definitely going to tell someone about him doing this to me. Cause that was just uncalled for!

I did mean for better or worse when I married him. And believe me I've been through hell with him. I don't want to get into detail about what I've gone through but the last year has been lie after lie from him and him blaming me for what's happened and not blaming himself and I've stood by and I think all these things were coming back up in my mind that I just wonder if I made the right decision. We both have talked about our relationship and we both think this way sometimes but we always get through it but this time i'm not sure I want to work through it. This doesn't make me wrong for my feelings. I got married in a court room with justice of the peace not a priest. We have our problems and i'm not the first person to feel likethis. not trying to sound Bitchy or rude i'm happy your problems have passed, but i'm not the first or last person to want to separate to find themselves...

Thanks for replying. My little girl us doing wonderful. I used this stuff called Parvaid and bought pedialyte and she ended up getting better which makes me a very happy person. I thought she wouldn't make out but that stuff worked great along with keeping her hydrated. The vet I took her to was suprised because they say that doesn't work but I know. Too many people that have used this and saved their dogs life.

My surgeon office sent me with the letter to have my pcp copy but he has to full in the blanks such as my name his name and the reasons like high blood pressure, anxiety and depression, pcos and asthma. I can actually post the letter my surgeon gave me for my doc to copy if you want but i'm sure everything will be fine for you doctors usually know what they are doing.

My doctor sends all his patients home with lovanox shots for 6 Weeks after surgery.

Hey everyone, just wondering if there its anyone who's having surgery in April? Im just finishing up my last 2 requirements for insurance which its getting my cardiology clearance which I'll have on Feb 20. And the first week of march I have psych eval. Hoeing to submit to insurance by the middle of March and have my wls in April. Would love to have some people to talk with and support. Although i'm not having RNY I will be having what's called the Duodenal Switch (not too many people have this so no support forums I can find) hopefully you walk will still be a supportive as I and we can go through this wls process together! Just be sure you don't ever want children! Don't maker the mistake by one of you getting snipped and there being no chance even if in 10 years you may want a child just be sure before you decide anything like that. DePO is a good choose just be careful because alot of women do gain weight on it. I have the nuva ring and love it for the most part. The only negative for me is my cervics is super low and i'm not quite "deep" enough for it so it tends to slip out some but its not even noticeable and its comfortable also easier than pills daily. But try the Depo my sis loves it. But think long and hard before deciding never to have a child. Good luck!

I also don't mind who knows my business.. I've told total strangers! I want and need wls so badly that if people want to judge me for "not doing it on my own" they can go eat shit! I've tried for many many years diets pills not eating and exercising and instead of the weight coming off i've seemed to pile it on. So i've told anyone and everyone. I'm not ashamed of this there is no reason. Sure people talk but does it really matter what they say? Hell no! Although I've not had really anyone be unsupportive but I have had a couple people who were retarded and jerk offs about it but just let it in one ear and out the other.
