I started CrossFit 3 weeks ago and actually gain 2 pounds but lost another pant size! Toning up!

I had mine removed exactly two weeks after bypass. Very painful.

What's the breakdown of protein/carbs/fat/total calories we should be at per day? I'm 7 months post op and not loosing because I'm able to eat everything.

I had my removed exactly two weeks after gastric bypass. The doctor didn't think it was possible so quickly. I agree, a scan of gallbladder should be a requirement. The gallbladder surgery was so much more painful. Don't do too much to not hurt yourself.

I asked my doctor yesterday too if the pouch could be stretched and she said no. What happens is we eat foods that easily slip down and don't stay in the pouch to give us the full sensation. I can eat donuts, chips, sip on sodas and no dumping happens. I started to get afraid as I'm 4 mos post op. I had 60 pounds to loose and I'm down 45. I'm starting to plan my meal times instead of grazing when I think I'm hungry and measure.

I'm in the same boat with 41# lost and then STOPPED! I'm upping my working but seem to be hungrier! Need a routine.
-
My weight loss has stalled. Not loosing but not gaining either. I upped my workout and I'm even hungrier now.
-
That's great Ellie! I started at 230 and I'm 4mos out with only loosing 40#. It's been a lot harder than I thought it would have been to loose weight.
-
I'm having the same issue. I'm 4 months out and I can eat chips and even and entire donuts with no dumping. It scares me to gain my weight back but it's hard to resist.

I went into gallbladder removal 2 week post op. I had sludge, no stones.
-
He only gives us as much as we can handle! Stay in prayer. Prayer is powerful!

I'm 5 week post op and have lost 28 pounds. Doctor said I was only expected to loose 25 pounds in 6 weeks. I'm a little ahead. I'm like you, I wanted more and faster. Now I think about the loose skin and I'm okay with progress. ( 2 wks post op, I went into gallbladder removal surgery too)

I want them!

Relax, relax, relax.... Best medicine for a quick recovery!

I took two weeks off. On the day I returned back to work, I got a sharp pain on my upper right side, sludge in my gallbladder was my diagnoses so another 2 weeks for second surgery.
-
Check what you're eating too. I'm 4 weeks post op and I've noticed if I have even a taste of Peanut Butter, I get a head ache then feel nauseous. I'm relating it to the extra sugar.

I too had sludge in my gallbladder. I just had surgery yesterday, 09/21, to have my gallbladder removed. My same RNY surgeon did my second surgery. When she went in, my gallbladder was inflamed. It was an outpatient surgery, I would have liked to stay in hospital because this is more painful than the gastric bypass.

Praying for you and your family. Ask for help, we all need it sooner or later.

Prayers for you! Mine is on Tuesday.
What to eat before/after exercise

I normally don't eat before workouts but I'll drink an Advocare Spark. Immediately after workout I'll drink a Protein Shake. About an hour after work out, I'll eat 1 egg and 2 slices of bacon. For me, Protein is key to avoid soreness.
