    Kiwi, You are doing amazing! Hold strong girl! I have lost only another 7 lbs past my 8th month and have had to stick to Proteins and veggies and really ramp up my exercise. But it's slow. Doc says i am where my body wants to be. Bad news is i am hovering at 160 and i want to be in the 140s. We will get there.
  5. Mine did that. I really stepped up my exercise and then the scale started to mine again. Really slow however. Like .2 lbs a week.
  6. Same here. And kicked him out last summer after 18 years. Now have a great boyfriend. Life is good and almost at 130 lbs down. Wls doesn't guarantee happiness. But someone who doesn't support your need to be healthy isn't worth your time.

    During an Oz Every 10 min when you are up else you will end up in er with dehydration in about 4 days. Really hard to deal with after surgery.

    When did you have your surgery? They have bread crumbs in them. Some people like me have problems with bread products.

    How far away from surgery are you? Post surgery, diet is largely protein and veggies. So south beach or atkins. Take your sodas out of your diet, all sugars- or at least items with sugars greater than 5 mg.

    I just recently had their orange roughy which was outstanding with lemon (squeezed) and lemon pepper seasoning.

    I must admit-I like schwans live smart products. Just watch the ones with high sodium. Love their plain unbreaded fish filets. With my spices and sauces of course.

    You can do this! Switch back to proteins and veggies. You will lose it in no time.

    You know Lou-I think it's ok if you do skip and if you post! Then we say. ..it's ok... happens to all of us, (hug) you And maybe suggest you preload with water before you go to the pizza parlor next time. We all fall. Its how we pick ourself up and minimize it next time.
  19. Ok. Guys (and gals) since when did we always have to agree with each other? In the "what are we eating tonight" thread, I have seen posts about. .."i went to a buffet" or fast food and ate much more than we/they should. Or eating a rather large quantity of food, or fried foods, or sugar laden stuff. Why is it that making a comment that this is a bad choice makes us negative nellies or flaming? Or bullies? I don't know about you guys, But i want to succeed in my new lifestyle. I want menu choices that are healthy. If i were a newcomer and read about fried foods and high sugar items that no one said was a bad choice, and i incorporated it into my diet, I would be ticked when it failed. (And it would!) Maybe we need to try. .." well now ward, don't ya think you were a bit hard on the beaver" mentality ( from ward and June cleaver) on "leave it to beaver" I.e. some gentle correction followed by a "you can do this! " rah rah rooting comment? I would rather find out where i am failing (with love or kindness) than. ..everyone talking about how stupid i am behind my back. Just saying.
