    2 Days Post-Op, Sipping Water?

I had this too. I found I could do better with ice chips instead of plain water. Also crystal light and vitamin water zero went down better then plain water too for some odd reason. Hang in there!

    Daily Protein Intake

I like the lose it app. Its free and it is easy to use. There are thousands of restaurant and grocery brands in it. It can send you custom reports and it emails you award badges that keep you motivated. It tracks weight exercise calories protein and other nutrients. It can also link up to your scale if you have one of the wireless ones.

    Is Frozen Yogurt Ok?

Most froyo shops have sugar free flavors. I tried coffee sf froyo the other day and loved it until two bites in I realized it probably had caffeine and stopped eating it. Ugh!

    Yonanna

I have one. My mother in law had it and made me one presurgery to see if I would like it for post surgery. I liked it so I bought one. Ive only used it a few times though. I think the ninja would do the same thing. Anyway it tells you to freeze the bananas overnight but ive found it works best if they are frozen for 3-4 hours. It also tastes better if you mix other frozen fruit in like berries or pineapple.

  10. Metformin is glucophage which is a drug to treat diabetes. A lot of doctors put pcos patients on it because it helps to keep weight in check. It also helps to control blood sugar because even though we are not diabetic we do have a high rate of getting diabetes over time.

    Freaking Out!

You may be eligible for cobra/continuation of benefits. It does cost money but may be covered by his employer because the layoff is so large. Hopefully he will get some information on it. So sorry to hear you are going through this.

    Yeah! Great job!
  17. Wow! Congratulations! That is so fast and fantastic! I have a question for you. Did you lose weight quickly right after surgery? I have a similar amount to lose so I am curious about your journey. I am 2 weeks out and down only 12 pounds which seems so slow to me. Thanks for any feedback you have.
  18. You look so happy! Congratulations!
  19. Wow! You are an inspiration! Great job!

    Am I Doing Okay?

I use the carnation too. It tastes pretty good. I also ordered beneprotein packets from the nestle nutrition site. It ups the protein by 5 grams a shake and you cant taste it. It just makes it creamier. I bet you could use powdered milk for the same result.

    No More Medications

Wow Paul. That's amazing! How do you have so much energy right after surgery? I want to paint my bathroom too but right now all I can do is think about it and I'm tired. Did you have any time after surgery where you felt tired? If so when did it go away? I'm one and a half weeks out and still so tired.
