New Physical Activities!
JustJenn replied to kloveburd's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
We are also a Disney family, and I found myself hating it because I would get tired, sweaty, and grumpy and not enjoy it even during the prettiest times of the year (Christmas). I hated being all sweaty in every pic when everyone was wearing sweaters. Now that I'm lighter and feeling good I'm looking forward to going and having a good time! Surgery 7/25/12 -
Back To Work Question ?
JustJenn replied to Big Lou's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was worried at first that 4 weeks was not going to be long enough, but after the first week I was feeling normal and good. I was ready to go back to work. I did enjoy the month I got to spend with my daughter. Best of luck! -

Anyone Weigh Around 400Lbs
JustJenn replied to normz956's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi! My starting weight was 389... Not 400 but I was pretty darn close. I'm 5 weeks post op (day of surgery I was 359lbs) & as of today I have lost 38 lbs so far. What caught my attention was the need to lose 200lbs. My surgeon & doctor want me to lose 200 I am sceptical because I don't hear much about that # lost. But that's what I need to lose! At this point I still can't imagine what I would look like in the 100's. Lol Surgery 7/25/12 -
Cant Drink Enough! Help
JustJenn replied to cmarie317's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My poor hubby... He's bought me poweraid zero in every flavor, mio in almost every flavor, propel zero in 3 different flavors, peach crystal light, Passion tea tazo bags, and a costco case of diet green tea. I too could not do Water it was hard to get it all in. But I got burnt out on every single thing! So grateful he found crystal light ice tea.... I've been faithful to just this for 2 weeks and still love it. Just find what works! Surgery 7/25/12 -

I was told before leaving the hospital not to freak out ... But been there and I was worried. First the smell is always bad... I don't eat much and still! (Sorry ppl lol) the loose bowels are because you haven't eaten enough to bring it all together. It's all normal and okay. There was extensive work done in there and its working great! Congrats & welcome! Surgery 7/25/12
