Absolutely! I was so used to loving my "good qualities" such as good person... Blah now I'm being told all of these amazing kind words and its flattering but I know I am made on Gods perfect image, and I am allowing myself to accept the compliments and still be a good person. It was 2 weeks to get approval/referral and then my appointment with surgeon, but on my first appointment in the office I had my surgery date. Surgery 7/25/12

I am with kaiser perm. I had to do a 12 week class then all the tests. It was hoops but somewhat organized but overall ok. My referral went through and approval went through in the time they told me. I'm in so cal. Surgery 7/25/12

I can relate ellie I find myself in awe of how I've changed. I am a visual person and need to see it that's why I sucked at diets I would give up when I didn't see changes. So every Wednesday (my surgery day) I take a pic and when I want a good laugh I edit the pic to side by side and I can't believe my eyes! I'm glad I knew that about myself and the day I started my wls journey I took a pic and that was my highest medical record weight. I made something similar with my unflavored Protein powder 1 scoop protein 1/2 to 1 tbsp of Peanut Butter 1/4 to 1/2 banana And non fat milk to thin it out Surgery 7/25/12

I'm there! *greatest morning* happy to share I am finally out of 3's. I've struggled with weight all my life, and I seriously can NOT remember the last time I was in the under 300lbs. And we celebrated my daughters 3rd bday on Saturday and it felt so good to hear all the wonderful compliments & today.... 299.6!!!!!! Hi! I had a heavy and painful first maybe 2 - 3 weeks. And I get a Sharp pain daily the week before. I got mine placed 6ish weeks before surgery. Give it some time and see if the bleeding and spotting stop and talk the gyno if you have concerns. I'm sure it will work for you it just needs time. Surgery 7/25/12

I'm adjusting to the noise lol its louder (seems) than my pre surgery life hunger pains. I always ask my husband... "Did you hear that?" Lol and I've that happen twice when I'm with my boss or a client and my pouch is just going nuts lol Surgery 7/25/12
