I am a field rep so I'm all over the place for work, yesterday a co worker had heard I had the surgery and really wants it. She was so sweet and more worried of asking me/offending me but I'm glad she did she had really good questions and will let me when she has her 1st appt. I felt kinda honored she asked and would open up to her struggles with me. We are placed at the right time to encourage. Surgery 7/25/12 -

I was just approved to swollow a whole pill don't have to do chewables, so yesterday I did but kinda freaked out since it was a big multi Vitamin.... But it went down fine. Surgery 7/25/12 -

I find myself hungry when I'm home too. Weekends I want to eat! But when at work I have to remind myself to eat! Comfort food is something our minds is always going to back and yes the mind is sooo hard to overcome and train to not want old habits. Hang in there and sip sip sip. Surgery 7/25/12

I am so sorry for all the changes following your injury. We all need support that's why we come. Your weight loss is phenomenal and gives me so much hope. In my pre op classes they had us doing chair exercises from this dvd for those who were too big or bad knees. Try what works and go back to Protein protein protein and are you drinking all your Water? Hang in there and lean on us to keep your motivated! Xx Surgery 7/25/12 -
I bought slip on walking shoes days before surgery and I have to wear socks with them now... Looks super funny I will only wear yoga pants now to not see my socks lol but if I don't my foot comes out of them. They were 10's but I hate to have to buy shoes only 3 months out I should have bought ones with shoe laces... Slip ons are stupid! Hahaha Surgery 7/25/12

I was pretty emotional for the first couple days and anxiety for the rest of week but I thought because I couldn't drive my husband was going back to work at my 3 days post, and I had my 2 year old with me all day. Plus keeping her occupied, feed, and me drinking.... I would cry and beg my hubby to stay home from work... But I survived and the the next week I was better more emotionally in control and on track. Had my 3 month post op appt on my RNY anniversary. I love my surgeons staff they are all so sweet and had so many awesome compliments. I am doing great so far, I can start to drink regular Vitamins, I can eat nuts (which I already was :-/) after losing another 30 pounds he wants me to "move more" and I can eat beef and pork in another month. Im doing good:) 3 months flies by! So make every day count people. Surgery 7/25/12

Wow! What motivation... We are about the same starting weight. I started at 389... You look so different. My question: at 5 months out are you finding it harder for the weight to come off? My surgeon wants me to move more after I hit 270. Keep up the grew work! Surgery 7/25/12

Thank you thank you! Real eggs don't agree with me either. I can eat 2-3 oz of my food *whatever I'm eating but only half an egg. I didn't keep my last egg down, and if I it sits really heavy! If I eat eggs I'll do egg beaters. Surgery 7/25/12

I just looked at my calender it was 2 weeks to get approval and 2 weeks exactly to see surgeon & I walked out with my date. Thank you! I am doing great tomorrow is my 3 month anniversary:) I am down 60 lbs since surgery and 90 since I started everything. I see my surgeon tomorrow for my 3 month follow up & I'm out of 3's so happy to be truckin in the right direction. Surgery 7/25/12 -
