  1. I,am killing my self with exercise1 15 hours of exercise..... a week .Am I over doing it. Ihave been eating a little more because of weight lifting, that alone is two hour work out plus hour walking.hitting heavy bag or bike......... feel really depressed over this I know that i am under 1500 calories,I was at about 1200 and was not losing any more so that when I added weight to tighten flabby arms more reps less weight. Started gaining weights. arms are tighting. can a person over exercise/not giving there body not enough time to heal? well there is always starvation....hahaha I know that is not the answer. what shoud i do quit weights stick to cardeo needed answer fast Ideas please. weighed in at 212 drinking lots of water... or just go back to walking only thata has always did it before!     Addicition

    We have all sorts of Addicition from drugs,alcohol, to even over indulging in are food intake,which stress...... has alot to do with over eating! And food is a comfort thing. Is a person that doe,s every thing to the Extreme an addict? In some way or Another. I found out in the past I was working out 15 hours a week tearing my body apart in the name of fitness & health. I have cut way back and will just stick to walking & very lights weights.I know I was setting my self up for a fall,because I was trying to look like one of those modles on mens health magazine, which there have propbley taken care of them self for meny years I come to the conclusion that I can,t do all this in one year... that was my goal was to lose and maintain 100 pounds I have done that then my addictive personalty told me that I could do it all! ( I ) have made extreme progress in my quest to be fit and health. I have done Good. I still want to be fit but Im am not going to kill myself doing it,and exercise should be fun not a Job! I,almost walked into a compaulsive disorder by doing to much,tell some friends of mine on LBT told me to slow down & my wife.That Im not going to do it over night I did not get fat over night and will not be thin over night! I, can live with that,I,choose to fight the weight loss game every day at little steps. well to all of you I hope you meet your weight loss goals!!!!!   6. My sister is going to get the band' the lap band in Duluth Mn.She only has four more pounds to lose! This may save her life! she has diabetes so bad and has had many hernia surgerys in the past this is her only medical choice' her Dr name is bertul out of Duluth clinic. well every one just wanted to share the news.   11. well id like to join, Im not to far from my goal weight of 190lb. I started the other day watching my calories. I took a break from dieting. its good to be back. I bought this pair of pants size 30 I call them my Goal pants < haha > Im wearing size 32 never in my whole life in a 30 but im going to get in those damn jeans, or die trying!

    Body Odor

    I was over weight by 100 pounds for over twenty years,my choice but even at my heavest weight of 310 pounds I never smelled! I was conscious of my size and always made sure that I did not smell. when I worked i brought a extra shirt with me in case I was to work up a sweat, I could change........ well to make a long story short Im at a store and these to large men smelled so bad you could not get twenty feet away from them, people were turning there heads and walking away. the smell almost felt like it was cutting your nose. what do you say?

    Pumping Iron!

    There is no better way to lose weight then Using weights for Fitness. Your body responds to damands you make on it, with proper nutrition and rest you can start seeing results quicky. MAKING A COMMITMENT a few hours a week to improving your health and fitness. means a few work outs 30-45 minute sessions 3 or 4 times a week. Start out light so you don't injury your self and just work up from there. If you have a lot of extra lose skin you can tighten it up easy with weights. using a mirror will help you see your muscle work and help you to make sure your fourm is right. now get out there and burn them Calories. feel the pump!

    Dear Chickie I was not trying to give a misleading statement. when I had lost all my weight I noticed that I had about three inch's of lose skin I,called flags. And I hated the way they would hang, after lifting weights for a short time. it is so amazing how weight lifting can tone your body and you can burn lots of calories doing it And Im glad you are doing so well you look great! have a nice day!     Prayer request.

    My mom fell down and broke a disc in her back! she has stoped eatting, a month ago just a spoon full of food.she is so thin and jerking her body riddled in pain it is so sad to see my best friend dying! I, have been there so much and talked talked and talked there is no more I, can do for her beside just being there. and its very hard. please say a prayer that she may go peace full in her sleep! thanks John

    Obsessive Exercising and Weighing

    Hello every one! This is a great post. I'have been on both side of the coin. From totally "Obsessed" with exercise & weight loss,only because of my obsession and fear of dying! I, went nut's on losing weight reading every thing I could find on weight loss and Nutrition. I, work out up to four hours aday 5 or 6 days a week one week 3days of lifting light weights & 3 days of walking running jogging in place with swimming, biking,carideo then would change my routine's. And I lost 120 pounds of weight in about a year half or so it almost killed me because I was over exercising and counting calories I was only taken in some times1500/ 1600 then burning more calories then I was taken in and that spelled starvation and my weight loss stalled! I wish I could find out the Lady who told me to go to bed and to increase my calorie intake It helped me to lose more weight at a slower pace a safer one! Thank God I lost the weight before I hurt my back! now all I can do is some walking and swimming, and count calories that keeps me in check with my weight loss! This may sound funny but please listen before you judge me! I had a fear or gaining lots of weight back, so I' took two months of from counting calories lots of pain meds in the process in a controlled experiment with my self I let my self gain weight "too lose the fear of weight gain" I gained twenty five pounds in weight eating lots of Ice cream. I started watching all of my calorie intake stayed at 1200/1500 and I very happy I have lost 16 pounds now at my own pace have no fear of weight gain any more and don't have to live by the all mighty scale. Now I check my weight twice a week count my calories and im in control eating lite and losing weight 213 pounds and dropping 16 pounds of new weight loss it will now take me 3 or 4 mounths to drop 23 pound and get back to 190 weight class, which the old way of over exercising I could of done that in a month or less the old way! Im very happy that I can control my weight loss, and very very happy that I have so many friends, who have helped me out many times in these past years! lbt is a great site. thanks again. John

    Who has lost weight with there program? I, joined as Im twenty pounds over weight. so I, need to change all my routines. More exercise,different foods,and being countable so I, can get to my goal weight.

    weight lifting is great for weight loss, you can build or tone with weights they are great for burning fat. if you need help please ask I have all kinds of books. Carideo and weight training is the best for fast weight loss. lots of reps less weight! Good luck! John

    What Peeves you?

    "Rude Ass Doctors" One Doctor told me that I,was fat! I kind heartedly told him to take a closer look at him self. And one Doctor told me after I herniated some disks."in my back, all I, will ever be able to do is flip burgers at Wendys as he smiled. So im filling a complaint with the state medical board. With all those years of education they would have learned some compassion or the meaning of that word.
