    Strength Training

    Start out with light weight,s and work up from there. it will take a little b it of time but soon you will notice a tighter mucle doing lots of rep,s. also there are Exercise,s you can do using your own body,s weight like the plank, holding your own weight up by doing a push up laying on your bows. also super man. push up,s.
  2. I,found a lady in Tompson Mn, who can make patchs for 4 or 5 dollers a piece. 100 pound club. lbt 100 club. what ever! to sew on your jacket or coat. Any idea,s welcome? any drawing,s skach,s doodle,s welcome.

  4. Exercise made easy! Doe's any body jog in the pool? It is very easy on your back and knee's. Swimming laps total body work out.
  5. This new fourm is GREAT!!!! Hats off to you. Exercise is so important weather your banded or not! the band is a great tool for weight loss but to push it forward you have to start slow and work your way into some type of exercise program,even if its only walking twice aday for 15 minute's. Then work up from there. Aslo good NUTRITION. And plenty of Water.

    The Embarrassment of Being Overweight

    I, don,t see fat people any more! I look at them as people who are hurting in some way eather Emotional or physically with every days pain's and having to bare all that extra weight! And I dislike the people who just have to sit and stare at them like they are some kind of side show at the mall. I wish that I, could do more to help them out.

  10. You have done very well losing 28lb's. put the scale away for a week focus on eating right, maybe more liquids? The mental stress your putting on your self by worrying is not helping weight loss or your mental health. It will all come in time! Good luck, ps. try more "CARIDEO"

    Unethical bandsters?

    I, can see both side of this issue. I ,was at 39.5 BMI I thought about eating a few more fat burgers on my own to beat the system! And a nice lady from lbt early on told me how I could beat the system, she did it in minnesota! was to get a minnesota address get some mail there health care system would due the rest! I thought about it! just did not want to commit fraud ( in my own mind ) Im glad she did it because it probley saved her life! with one little lie!!! I,looked into lapband surgery and my own insurence would only pay for GASTRIC-BYPASS I,watched a program on discovery channel to much cutting for me. I, lost the weight on my own and help from people here on this site and my faith in God, and being scared of dying! before I hurt my back last June I worked out up to 14 hours a week, I just plain went nuts with exercise and some starvation due to over exercising!!!!!!! I, don,t think I, could due it a gain. maybe 50/50 ( IT SHOULD JUST BE EASYER FOR PEOPLE TO GET HEALTH CARE ) WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE VERY LARGE BMI,S SHOULD BE CONSIDERED MOST AT RISK OF DEATH, DUE HEART FAILURE AND ALL THE OTHER PROBLEMS THE COME WITH BEING OVER WEIGHT. THAT IS JUST MY OPION. AND I, WOULD NOT JUDGE ANY PERSON THAT MADE THAT LITTLE LIE TO SAVE THERE OWN LIFE! I, THINK WE ALL HAVE MADE, A LITTLE LIE IN ARE LIFE TIME?.. ( I, HOPE THIS DON,T GET ANY BODY MAD WITH THAT STATEMENT )

    Empty Calorie's

    IF YOU WORK OUT LIKE A MAD PERSON AND STAY UNDER 1500 CALORIES AND PLATEAU AT THE SAME WEIGHT FOR 7 MONTHS THERE IS SOME THING WRONG! TRYING TO FULL FILL A CRAVING FOR ( CHOCOLET & SUGER ) KEPT ME AT A PLATEAU......................... WITH (DRINKING Cappuccino ) FILLED THE NEED FOR SUGER!!!! AND I WAS NOT LOSING WEIGHT, I LOOKED AT ALL THE HEALTHY STUFF I, ATE I, JUST DIDENT WANT TO ADMIT IT WAS THE coffee CAPPUCCINO THAT WAS KILLING MY WEIGHT LOSS. SO I, QUIT COLD TURKEY ABOUT A WEEK LATER STARTED LOSING WEIGHT AGAIN. SO BE CAREFULL WITH EMPTY CALORIES THEY ADD UP!

    Chocolate Addictions...

    Quick is fix! Dried friut or trail mix. worked for me! or if you like Cappuccino lots of EMPTY CALORIE;S in those.be careful. Or just try to only eat Choclet on FRIDAY. ( head hunger with chocolet is tuff one ) or if you must just a few little piece's then know more! Good luck JOHNQ

    100lb club tatoo!

    This may sound funny to some" but Im going to get the first 100 lb club tatoo on my arm. And im going to were it like a badge! For all of you that have made Congrad's and for the people still making step's toward it! Good job keep up the work the effort you put in is like banking time, you will get there at some point and we can all jump up and down. even you slow loser come on we will be waiting for all to finnish your weight lose goals. take care God bless JOHNQ.:clap2:

    Jumpstart Weightloss

    800 calories or less is what they gave the p.o.w's in war time most of them went into starvation mode, how can that be good for your heart & how much stress is that putting on it and your body have to fight for Nutrient's. And the your body has to attack it by eating muscle mass! I could be wrong! but this is only my opion.

    bowl of Cereal with a banna' blue barries' rasberrys. breakfast snack yogert dipped granola bar Luncn banna& small glass of cholet milk with Water dinner salad with a hamberger with onions and green pepers snack fruit smoothie. about 1500 calories.

    "Shake it up"

    "I just started to lose again!!!!!!! yeah!!!!!! I found out that your body gets used to the same old routine. So you have to change up! I think every (thirty days) you should add some thing fun. what every you like to do. Do a little more. add some bike riding a little swimming. and take a walk even if you have to walk slow, which is good also,take two 15 minutes walks.a day. first thing in the morning and the evening. Also if your going to have Snacks around make sure they are healthy! all fruits are good. And make sure you are drinking lots of water! take care God bless you. JohnQ....:biggrin1:

    Loose Skin?

    I, lost a 115 pounds and had lose skin, when I moved my arms my skin would slap make a noise. some on on this site told me to start lifting light weight tone up! it worked! I think is was Big Ethal? how is she doing? Im at 198 pounds and have been here or about 7 plus months the last 13 pounds is killing me!

    I,am truly a blessed man! GOD, has gave me a great wife wonderful kidds a nice home and the amercian dream. Each morning God allows me to put my feet on the floor is a gift.     Jenn Hall, a Register Dietittian,who I talk with a few times in the past year! who sat me down and talked with me about proper nutrition. Asked me to speak at a WEIGHT WATCHER,S event & dinner.
