I did the low calories for three weeks and never went in to Starvation mode but becareful because ( rapid weight loss can and will cause Gall stones ) I am having surgery in a few days or so.I aslo ate tons of fruit. when I was doing the low calories the weight fell off. I had to do some thing because I was 310 pounds Iam now 231.4 and will be lighter in the morning. My Docter told me yesterday it was worth it. Im much healther now. Look like a new person & feel like Im alive I can do anything now. Good luck with your weight loss program & being banded that was a great step to better living. and your health. ps make sure you drink enough water/ liquids/protein and walking is great for weight Loss. take care God bless.

Trish sorry to hear about those comments some people are just rude & Ignorant...The sad thing is they teach there kidds to treat people the same way! If people only new how words hurt. I ,am happy to see your smiling face here ( trying ) to do some thing about your weight Issue.....the old saying is if there talking about you then there leaving me alone.Haha. just roll with it soon the weight will be off you will feel so much better you have took the 1st step to better health I wish you much luck. try drinking more liquids that really works for me. this may sound funny but try eating something very slow take a few bits come back 15 later eat little more take a drink. fruit is always good....... Good luck...... The weight loss game is a tuff mental game but you can do it Good luck...as of today Im down 79 pounds walking walking and more walking Good luck God bless take care!

Good job on losing the weight! Keep it up. let me tell you a funny story people don,t want to give a person any credit for the hard work and disclipine it takes to manage your weight loss goals. one person asked me If I had all my intesttines removed or I was terminally Ill,however no matter how you lost it < you lost it > you are on a fast track to better health...... KEEP IT UP! If only my shoes could tell the story of my weight loss and all the hundreds of miles that I have walked and countless hours of walking for my health and a better life. Could it be a Hiatal hernia? do you get heart burn so bad you can throw up! or eat a pack of rolaids and it dont help? Good luck on getting your gall bladder removed. mine will be coming out very soon Im glad you arent have the pain that can go with gall stones......Take care God bless will pray for you! -

put me into this little game! weighed in at 236.5 one one scale and 237.5 on my fat scale ( haha ) from 40 BMI to 31. my goal is 200 maybe 180...........as of today Im down 73.5 pounds. well every one take care God bless!

I called Medicare for two weeks streight evry ten minutes it seemed to they gave me this answer this is for wi they would only pay for Gastric by pass and the Roux-en-y only also had to go see a shrink Docter for your head also six mounth of monitored weight loss with your docter or diet technician and have a bmi over 40 or other health factors. Good luck Keep on trying every case is different/he who crys the loudest gets heard.

You can beat this it is very hard But If I can... you can....... I ate almost most a half pound jumbo candy bar every day! the pop was easy the candy was tuff.. try eating more fruit.......and drink more Water when you get the craving fill you face with some good. Good luck. Most of all God bless.

Good for you get your hair done! I Took my Daughter to get her nails and feet done and I got my hair colored last week we had fun. Tinted Now back to you hope life is treating you good! It sound like your putting your foot forward its a start..... then you will have to make some time for your self Do what ever you have to do to get out side and go for a walk! Good luck. -
Just wanted to say hello. And to talk about how important it is to make time in are busy lifes with kidds family & Jobs. To make time for are selfs...........even an half hour a day will make a big change in ones attitude and health.It will take some time to notice but it will happen. Also don't for get your Water. It will help your muscles and your thirst and help with flushing your system out! It is recommend to walk 10.000 steps a day. That is 5 miles I' believe. but it will take some time for a lot of people because we are not all athletes. Some are in better shape then other, but we are all on this site to lose weight with the same goal some banded some of us that aren't. I myself enjoy this site because of all the encouragement that people Give. well take care God bless!

I searched the web for Docters for hours and drove over four hours to clinic and sat through 3 hour orientation in Green bay wis, all to find out that my Insurence would not cover it. It would cover the Gastric bypass but thats all. I could lie and say I live in Minnesota they do it in deer river MN.One hundred miles away.......It was so tempting! It would be Lie and could be considered fraud.......... I would love to have been banded but eather way you still have to work at your weight loss. Buy eating right and Excercise. Thats why I never got banded. But most of all God bless every one!

I have been looking for a good Tread mill to buy. Trying to stay under $600.00 Dollers have been to sears and Sams club. Sams club had some really nice ones that were cheaper then Sears But there sold out of the really good ones and were now carrying the Proform model. The girl at Sams told me that this model more or less sucked! Well to save $300.00 I bought it any way. Well it did suck......It was all right to walk on but if you ran on it! It would stop! even my 71lb son could run on it and it would stop. I' payed $500.00 for it. Well need less to say Sams club got it back. So I have been walking out side every day and last night missed the tread mill so much I had to run in place while watching tv......... That worked so well now Im going to start a new fad running in place while watching your favorite show haha it worked. If you have any info good Tread mill under $600.00 feel free to share the info Thanks John........ Weighed in at 253.5 today

walked 5.4 miles last night and jogged for half in hour this weight seems to stubborn. Tonight will eat really light drink more water.Heavyer at night lighter in the morning. well take care.
