  1. Are you planning to make one? If you are please make your's Achievable!!! If you been a heavy smoker for year's,chance's are your going to smoke again! Same thing on drinking,whatever, make your goal's small so you no you can make them and feel good about it and your self. Im not saying that some of us don't have good will power but I' feel on my face Christmas day eatting, I ate so healthy all year..........then Christmas fell on my face hard? six cookie's a few cream puff's 2 plate's of meat. Come on "I" knew I did not need this. I just ate it any way. Im up a pound or two. oh well! thats life.just have to eat a little lighter this week, My own ......RESOLUTION...... is to just get healthy focus little harder on toning up( eat right ) exercise.     "weight loss ride"

    "MY focus is on being FIT, not skinny..."Im holding my own on my weight loss 115/113 pounds. my plan is just to tone up! Im pretty fit at 196 pounds for a six foot tall man, large frame. 12 pound over weight by standards set by the Insurence company.as soon as I' can im going to do some therpy for my back then plan to really focus ON LITE WEIGHT" with Cardieo...and tone up my stomach and alittle more weight loss.hehe. I hope this year that you will all meet your weight loss goal's keep pushing forward and soon you will break through! This last year of weight loss has changed and saved my life,this weight loss ride has been a great one,Praise God! No matter how you lose the weight, Just lose it for your self and your family!   5. YES WE TEND TO BE HARDER ON ARE SELF'S.....PEOPLE ALWAYS TOLD ME THAT I CARRYED MY WEIGHT WELL,YEAH RIGHT NO MATTER HOW YOU CUT IT I WAS FAT!!!!! I WENT TO A RESORT AND WAS HORRIFED HAVING TO WALK AROUND WITH NO SHIRT ON (SEEM'S FUNNY NOW ) BUT i WAS HAPPY WHEN I SAW SOME ONE LARGER THEN ME! I WAS ALWAYS HARD ON MY SELF BUT FEEL A GREAT DEAL OF EMPATHY FOR OTHER PEOPLE WHO WERE HEAVY BECAUSE AT TIMES IT WAS HARD,PEOPLE JUST LOOK AT YOU DIFFERNTLY? TREAT YOU DIFFERENT;I WOULD RUN INTO MY HOUSE IF I WAS WORKING IN MY YARD WITH NO SHIRT ON ( PRETTY STUPID ) LOW SELF ASTEAM ....AFTER I' LOST ALL THAT WEIGHT I WENT FOR A WALK AROUND MY WHOLE TOWN NO SHIRT ON DOWN THE HIGH WAY! LOOK AT ME!!!!!!!! IT FELT LIKE I WAS OUT OF HUMAN PRISON AND THEN AFTER THAT (I COULD DO ANY THING ) PEOPLE WALK UP TO ME EVERY DAY AND SAY WOW IS THAT YOU I COULD ONLY TELL IT WAS YOU ONLY BY YOUR VOICE. WEIGHT HOLDS US BACK IN EVERY WAY AND SHAPE FROM JOB'S TO EMOTION'S,PLAYING WITH YOUR KIDD'S OR COMPLACATION'S WITH HEALTH ISSUE'S. I'HAVE 17.6 POUNDS TO LOSS THEN IM GOING TO MAINTAIN THERE AND JUST STAY HEALTHY AND FIT! I WEIGHED IN AT 197.6 THIS MORNING AND DID NOT CHANGE IT AT THE BOTTOM OF MY POST BECAUSE I WILL LOSE THAT 2.6 POUNDS IN A DAY OR SO. WELL EVERY ONE KEEP ON PUSHING FORWARD AND SOON YOU WILL BREAK THROUGH I HOPE YOU WILL ALL MEET YOUR WEIGHT LOSS GOAL'S IN TIME.

Aslo Swimming Is Great For Your Whole Body.help Your (band ) Help Your Self! Also" Cardieo "is Very Importent With Lite Weight's. Your Band Is A Great Tool But You Also Need Some Form Of Exercise! WALKING IS THE BEST IF YOUR JUST STARTING OUT AS IT'S EASY ON YOUR KNEE'S AND BACK! START SLOW WORK UP,SOON YOU WILL PUSH FORWARD AND BREAK THROUGH!!! Take Care God Bless!     Suicidal thoughts with obesity?

    Dear JODIE, I feel your pain and im sorry that are felling the way you do! it's funny in a way how one person's mind work's Destructive behavior hostility, turned inward, at the time it may seem right(ONE"S OWN THOUGHT"S) but harming one's self is not the answer!!!!! You may be very large, and just hate your self..........Thats fine but that dos'ent mean your going to be heavy your whole life.......weight loss take's time unless you have lot's of money for personal trainers special diet's and some one to stand behind you and push you twenty four seven. you will get there but it take's time. you did not gain all your weight over night, so you won't lose it over night! use some of that pent up energy and start walking as much as you can to help weight loss and keeping your mind clear! I was very fat! now slim but it took me a year, hang in there if you ever want to talk drop me a line. Most of all young lady there are a lot of family and friend's out there who care about you, even if you feel alone........Most of all God bless take care.JOHNQ:cool:

    "I wound not even buy Ring to you get down to your goal weight! because it's about $25 dollers to get sized,and there is no sence in guessing,all of my Ring's have to be resized they just fall off! quart inch to spare. "I have been giving alot of cloth away,however I find my self at Old Navy alot they really have some great deal's! Good luck with your weight loss, keep on "pushing" forward and soon you will break through!

  15. 'IF YOU COULD BUY YOUR HEALTH! ( WHAT WOULD YOU PAY?).................. LET'S SAY (MEN) 185lb that is the average weight 6 foot tall. let's say ( woman) 125.5 is the average weight 5 five feet five half in woman. say you wanted to lose 100lb how much is it worth to you? I'know this seem's pointless but please bare with me,some people out there in band land are investing in there future (Financially) for your golden year's. And some of you invested in you Band self paying! WHAT a great investment for you health, and for your Golden year's I' applaud all of you who got banded for you better health! The point "Im trying to make is that you need to start, depositing DAILY WITH AT LEAST HALF HOUR OR SO? OF (exercise ) FOR YOUR GOLDEN YEAR'S BUILDING YOUR HEART UP AND GETTING FIT,OR BETTER HEALTH! MY SON'S AND I' WERE WATCHING STUPIDVIDEO'S.COM SOME OF THEM WERE JUST GUT BUSTING FUNNY! WE CAME A CROSS ONE, CALLED LAZY MAN'S EXERCISE: MY SON'S ARE VERY YOUNG AND DID NOT UNDER STAND THE VIDEO BUT THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY! IT HAD THIS VERY LARGE FELLOW SITTING IN A CHAIR LIFTING HIS LEG'S THEN HIS ARM'S DOING EXERCISE,tHAT WAS THE ONLY WAY THE MAN COULD DO THEM! "I FELT SORRY FOR HIM THAT IS WHY IM WRITING THIS! SOME OF US ARE IN BETTER SHAPE THEN OTHER'S.... BUT DEEP DOWN NO MATTER WHAT SIZE WE ARE WE HAVE TO START SOME PLACE WITH EXERCISE!!!!! EVEN IF IT IS SITTING IN A CHAIR! JUST DO IT, MAKE TIME...TAKE TIME FOR YOUR SELF.... AND YOUR HEALTH. WHY IS THERE NO EXERCISE POST ON THIS SITE? LBT.. ID LIKE TO SEE ONE............PERMANENT. MOST OF MY WEIGHT LOSS WAS BECAUSE OF A PROPER BALANCED DIET/EXERCISE.   17. Today Tell Newyear's Day The Average Person Will Gain 7pound's Of Weight. Due To Over Eating And,( Also Liquid Calorie's ) Add Up Fast. Putting Off, There Daily Walk. I,will Do It Tomorrow. Mine Is Over Eating Candy! That Is My Down Fall! I'allow My Self To Eat Some What Of Junk Food One Day,a Few More Hundred Calorie' Intake That Day Then Fight The Calorie's The Rest Of The Week! I Hope Every One Out There In Band Land Will Have A Safe And Loving Time With Your Family's And Friend's Over Christmass!!! And Also Remember To Think About All Your Choice's Of Food,however If You Been Fitting A Few Pound's For A While Now Is Not The Time To Let Your Self Go With Eating As You May End Up Fighting For Another Month.weight Loss.   19. This will help you and your band if you let it.Just a thought for you. There was a done study 3 groups of people! subjects who dieted' but dident exercise; those who dieted and did aerobic exercise;and those dieted and did aerobics and weight training. in twevle weeks'each group lost the same amount of weight-about 20 pounds. the big difference was the amount of muscle lost.people who dieted with out exercising lost nearly seven pounds of ( Muscle ) interestingly,those who dieted and did aerobics lost over four pounds of muscle ). only the group who dieted while also lifting weights and doing aerobics maintained their muscles mass. they lost about a ( half a pound of muscle' ) even though they lost a substantial amount of body weight. he bottom line from this study: when you add weight training and aerobics to your weight loss program' you lose more fat and less muscle- if you train intensely. I learned the hard way I dieted little exercise at first, and lost a lot of muscle mass. it seems funny when I was heavyer I could lift so much more now I feel like the skinny guy at the beach as my bench is down over hundred pound's but! the flip side to this Im fitting into size mens 32 pants and looking very tone! from size 42! hehe.JOHNQ (P.S) cardieo is the way to go lose the weight first then build your self up as your heart is the most importent muscle that we have. take care God bless.

  24. That ( ARM SLAP ) when you moving your arm's slap's against your body is driving me nut's! My physcal therapist told me that I can do lite upper body work out's! "I" have been happy at 195/197 weight class and toning up but every time I move my arm's I here that arm slap!!!! So therefor I must lose more weight! Six foot tall man weight should be 185,however I have a 44.5 inch chest Im thick......"Im" truly blessed losing all this weight but going crazy! "Im" going to try to get down to 180/185 and see if that doe's it. take care and God bless! My problems are nothing please say a prayer for are freind penni60 as she need's are help! JOHNQ
