The first visit was two days after surgery. Imma big baby and couldn't handle the pain (when is the last time you heard a man keep it real like that? Lol). Stayed 4-nights then went home for 3-days. Then I had the endoscopy because my pouch closed on me. Stayed 2-days then home for a week. Finally I was puking so bad that I couldn't keep Water down! Dehydration, yadda yadda yadda equaled another week in the hospital. Finally I'm feeling good and have been lifting like crazy!! So I didn't quite have the energy to make gumbo but I did make a seafood based meal. I got with one of my buddies who is an offshore fisherman (and vendor to the restaurant in Monterey) and got some beautiful salmon fillets.
