I'm in HR and I would at least have the paperwork ready to go for fmla. God forbid but if you have complications then he would have to "call off" work and would not be protected.

Well walking into a chicos with a friend who had the surgery last year and the woman behind the counter yelled to me do you understand what sizes we have in here. At first I thought she meant there off sizes but then she said we only go up to a 14. It's obvious I'm bigger. I was mortified. Then there are my huge thighs in plane seats. Ugh -
