We are all so new at this. We will get used to it and things will progress that will make it all easier. Everyday I feel a little bit better. I know I will have rough days but the good days give me hope. I'm two weeks today from my RNY and one from my stricture surgery and I feel pretty good. Puréed foods scare the hell out of me. I should be cleared for them tomorrow. Hang in there! -
Mine was cleaning, shopping and getting things in order for about two weeks of doing nothing. Good luck!!

I wanna say a week or so. Everyone is different but there was a huge difference in me a week out. It gets better! :-) -
Well, not sure. I think it's more us being depleted since we don't eat hardly anything. I could be way off base. But I know when I wash my hair and my eyes are closed I get queasy. Just strange

I've had this a little. I think it's the lack of food and getting bounced around.

Dawn, yep two days after and it lasted eight days. Cramps were awful. The surgery messes with hormones. -
Don't cancel! You will be fine. The first week is pretty rough but each day gets better. You can do this. Heck If I can anyone can.
-
Same here. I will not show my knees to anyone!!! We can do this!!! :-)

Rockin Jess: Only thing I can say is don't push it. That will make it worse. I know you feel guilty right now but you have to heal and just remind hubby about how important this is for you. It will all pass. Everyday the pain gets better and you can do more. Just try to relax now. Hugs!! -

Hang in there... It gets easier with the food. The first few days I started at my hubby like the dogs do. He had a PBJ and I really wanted it. Every day it gets easier. Glad you are home!! -
Any no calorie or low (light crystal light or g2 low cal) is ok. Just not carbonation.
