  10. I have watched about 30 episodes of law an order. Lol!! It's kept me sane. Anyway, you are so right. I was lucky to have a lot of nurses that actually had the surgery. They were so helpful!! Others were in the process. Nicky, glad to hear you are progressing. :-)

    How Much To Eat?

Well I have been pondering this too. The good thing is one ounce of chicken (about 2 tablespoons) is 7 grams of protein so it adds up. I'm thinking we will be on shakes for a while. I've had conversations with my nut and surgeon and they agreed. It's a slow process of transitioning between the shakes to the real food.
  14. Cathy, so sorry to hear about your set back but it will go quick! It is just more time to prepare for your new life!!! Good luck!
  15. Glad to hear it!! Just take one day at a time!!

    Freaking Out

You can do this!!! Yes the liquid diet is very hard but it will be worth it. You have come so far already! I'm a big chicken and I'm terrified of failing but I'm taking one day at a time. My RNY was on the 19th and I've had some hiccups but its getting better!

Fat Calories In My New Diet Plan. Help!

Protein protein protein. I used to fluff this off but there is a big difference. Over the past two years I have realized carbs slow my weight lost down. I mean the "bad" carbs. Rice, pasta, potatoes, bread, etc. I lose when I'm over 70 grams per day. Good luck.
