We are all in the same boat. My surgery was 11/19. Only down 21 pounds but I'm not complaining. I agree The poo thing is a big issue. I'm struggling everyday with food and water. Hang in there. It does get better! -

I don't think I've dumped yet but man do I get nauseated. A lot of us use fitness pal to track. They have apps and a website. I'm worm2872 on their. It's cool since you have friends on there too. My pouch hates mornings and late evening. And cold. Ugh. -

It's so funny... I had no problems with shakes at the beginning now I just can't do them. I gag one down a day but I'm scared I've stretched my pouch trying to eat protein. I only do a 1/4 cup at a time but an hour later I can eat again. Oh well. In a week I'm going to try a soft protein bar. -
Wow! Fantastic success!

Once you move off the heavy pain meds you'll start to feel better. Each day gets better!

I was told no gum.. It adds air to the pouch.

I'm walking and doing arm weight. I'm three weeks post op but I am scared of reinjuring myself like I did a week or so ago. Anyway, going back to work for a few hours today and FT on Monday. We will see how it goes. I'm still kinda fatigued. -
You can do this. And don't be too hard in yourself. 55 is a good foundation. Dust yourself off and today is a new day!

Baker gurl: wow that's just awful. People are so freakin rude. -
Yep you are fine. It's a huge step in life. :-). You'll be ok.

I don't think any yogurt has zero sugar. I've been eating dannon light and fit Greek yogurt in vanilla. I have been able to tolerate it since week two. It's a life savor for me. 12 grams of protein and 80 calories.

I'm on puréed and in week four. I've been fine with tuna and cod.

Whoo hoo!! Awesome news -
I have mine on the 19th of nov. It had been kinda tough I did have a stricture and another surgery but that was a fluke. Everyday gets better. I'm a big baby and never had a surgery before and I was ok. You are really sore for about a week and then things start to pick up. Food and drinking is the biggest challenge. Good luck to you!! If you have a specific question let me know.

Congrats and good luck to you!! Time will fly by!!
