Eva, I am so sorry to hear this. I had an obstruction too so I know how horrible it is. You may be better off with them doing a revision. It may be better then all of the complications. Prayers for you!!! -

Prayers for you!! You will get through this and one day you will wake up and feel better. I know you will! -
I did the apple oatmeal from Gerber. It was a good way to transition and pretty good too. The meat was foul.

How soon is too soon to drive after GB
worm2872 replied to Bward's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Two to three weeks seems to be the average. I suggest three if you can or more. It is so much better to get your food straight at home. Good luck -
Help after surgery?
worm2872 replied to lolawaiting's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes. I would stay with someone. I was for the most part ok especially since I had a recliner and bathroom on the same floor. I just know I was pretty weak and I was glad to just have someone there. Good luck -

What does preadmin testing consist of?
worm2872 replied to lolawaiting's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Usually blood work, X-rays, upper GI, EKG, psych eval, nutrition counseling. I really depends on your dr. Good luck! -
It's really trial and error. I'm on purée/soft food too and I just try a little bit and see how it sits. Good luck.

I agree with all of you but one day I would like I be able to have one piece of pizza on rare occasions. :-). No I do not want to make a habit of it!!! I gave up bread/buns, pop, ice cream and alcohol for life. I cut a lot of carbs out years ago. However, I like the 300 calorie meal and 100 calorie snack rule. I just never ever want to be the eater I was before. I did this to help control my intake. -
Christmas dinner ~ bariatric friendly recipes
worm2872 replied to cjoyce's topic in Food and Nutrition
I'm doing roasted acorn or butternut squash. I put salt and pepper on it and roast it in the oven. Right before it is done I brush it with a little light butter and roast it a few more minutes. Really good and no sugar needed. The roasting brings out the flavors. -
