I did not have a PCP either. I had the opposite issue mine just wanted to pump me full of pills but not help me get to the root of the problem. I went through a center I excellence and they took care o everything. Still looking for a PCP.

I had mine 11/19 too. Hormones are nuts! I'm feeling pretty good. I had a few weeks where food was a no go but I'm doing better on soft foods then shakes. I'm down about 23 pounds since surgery so you are doin great.

I think they are ok it's the calories that get me but if you can get your protein in with them, well yea! :-)

I've been told the same thing protein, then veggie, fruit and then carbs.

I baked two maple pecan pies. My favorite. Ugh I've been nibbling. No Cookies yet but I know I'll will today. From my cheese dinner yesterday I hit 800 calories and freaked out lol. Funny. Last year it would have been one meal.

All I can say is I'm about five weeks out and three of my incisions are barley visible. The other two are pretty small and I had two surgeries. I had a stricture. I think the big difference for me was only having small internal muscle openings. I could not imagine one as big as you would need for open. Its amazing how much you us your stomach.
